♩ ♫♪ ♬ — ( she knows he’s there. it’s evident in the intuition that’s filled her soul since she bloomed into a woman; adopting all traits and feelings most have achieved. she doesn’t know how to feel about his presence, however. apprehensive? terrified? wary? it’s all meshed itself into the nerves in her brain that tell her heart to keep pumping; to keep pumping the blood that runs thick in her veins, pulsing louder and louder, until it gets so loud that all she can hear is her heart beating as her feet begin to pick up the pace to seek for any hint of civilization and-- she knows she’s scared. maybe it was the fact that women were taught to fear loneliness in itself, for whatever lurks within the shadows finds its chance to hunt on these poor women like how the lion hunts for the deer, only to leave these women with scars. and although she’s physically weak, she knows she’s strong mentally, having adapted to the lashes of her father’s words from long ago. thus, what it is the male may seek, she doesn’t know. but god awaits the hell of the fight that she’s ready to put up-- and she’s more than just the lost lamb. and with a hesitated exhale, she mutters her words to the shadow that’s followed her footsteps. ❝ what is it that you seek from me? ❞
