why does your ship deserve to be considered the most toxic?:

Where do I start... They are two people that found comfort in the other. That comfort isn't always the happy and loving comfort they needed. The relationship did start with Joseph manipulating Rose, making her emotionally and mentally vulnerable. Even if Rose became self aware of what he did, she very much took advantage of her situation. Just like Joseph did with her, she too found a way to emotionally and mentally manipulate him. It became a push and pull between them, making the other worse instead of better. They encourage the horrible behavior and excused the others actions. Joseph and Rose are not just horrible to each other but to everyone else around them.

why does your ship deserve to be considered the most toxic?:

Ira is hopelessly and endlessly devoted to cassiel, believing her to be the peak of all that is good, pure and holy, placing her on an insane pedestal that she doesn't want to live up to. Ira doesn't believe herself a person because all she's ever been is a weapon (she eats souls) and will occasionally heavily isolate herself to go commit many a crime. They're thousands of years old and so off and on but Cass is the only one who unconditionally interacts with Ira and provides her any softness. Cassiel is dating Mai as well and Mai HATES Ira and thinks Ira is the worst person and starts fights and causes Ira to run off.

👻 GHOST - do they believe in ghosts? what are their "ghostly experiences", if any?

She sure does! Annie’s mother used to practice seances scams when she was a kid. There were a few times she swears she felt the presence of a spirit in their house during them. A jilted lover and a murdered child being two of the big ones. Of course everyone outside of her family and family friends swears she just has a very active imagination.

💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

Besides the tarot practice and the speaking to ghosts? Annie is a bit of a neat freak in general. She also has a bad habit of having full on conversations with herself, regardless of whether anyone else is there or not.

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Annie is absolutely terrified of failure. And of just being wrong full stop. She’s been raised to believe that everything she thinks and feels is correct, so the reality of the world is a huge shock to her. Though, she does try to pretend like it isn’t. Her silliest fear is butterflies, though. She loves flowers, but their mere existence makes her steer clear of most public gardens just in case they try to land on her.

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

All of the above? She’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie and prone to danger, more so than most women of her time. The thrill of a new discovery and a threat against a loved one are definitely in the top two, though. Unfortunately, those two seem to go hand in hand more than she would like.
