Can I get some Headcanons of lovely Assassin's Creed ladies (the ones from my last time asking) with a witchy s/o?
Kassandra, F!Eivor, Aya, Evie and Jing Lang Dating a Witch
[GN!Reader]
[Warnings: Like, none?]
[AN: Yes. Yes you may. For all my other witches out there, what would you classify your practice as? I am a mess and say eclectic, but I seem to be really drawn to kitchen witchery rn. ALSO, all written in the context of the modern era.]
Kassandra
She doesn't question it one bit. I think she finds it really cool. Is she practicing? no, she leaves that to everyone else. While deity work is not a necessity, I think Kassandra, throughout her long life, is a bit tired of,,,, things she cannot quite explain practically.
She leaves that stuff to you. If you need anything, she's very, very accommodating. Gets you pearls (yes this is a reference to the "goowerry" mission) and pretty flowers, whatever you need.
If deity work is part of your practice and you're working with Greek deities, I think she's insightful on what makes them happiest and gives you insight where she can.
Incense kinda gives her a bit of a headache so watch out for that? She might need a bit of a warning or will open the windows. Generally, she doesn't get in the way of your practice though and wants to be respectful towards it!
Kassandra does love seeing all the candles though if you're using those. She helps where she can, y'know? Very respectful, reminds you of lunar cycles, reminds you of spell jars, accepts the little sachets you might give her, runes, wards, whatever you want to throw at her she finds endearing and accepts and believes it wholeheartedly.
Eivor
I just,,, get the energy Eivor would be a practicing witch but very lowkey. I think her practice is focused on shadow work and deities - with surprise surprise, Odin as her patron. That's about it though, she incorporates little things into her practice and helps you with yours when you ask.
I think the two of you are big on vulture culture. Head out in the woods, see some deer skull, properly clean it and boom. On the altar. Your entire house gives off witch vibes.
I think Eivor also likes kitchen witchery? Green witchery too but not the extent you might if you do. Your house is full of plants you've nursed back to health, mead, good food, there's sigils in the corners of windows and wards all over the house. She reminds you about drying flowers from time to time. I think you both like using those.
She incorporates a lot of Norse culture into her practice, and when it's able to be shared, she will teach you all about it. The two of you celebrate holidays that line up with both of your beliefs. I'd like to say that the home you share with her is always pretty festive and in tune with the seasons.
She's very supportive of you. The two of you just kinda,, understand each other? She gives you jewelry or clothing from time to time to veil for you, or with charms and whatnot. She likes you being safe physically, emotionally mentally and spiritually.
Aya
Is not a witch but still a Khemetic pagan that has a worship relationship with the deities she prays to and has little altars to around your home. If you have any Khemetic deities, Aya has you covered ten fold.
She's pretty,,, hands off on your practice? She definitely respects it, but I don't actually see Aya as someone who follows any form of mysticism/witchcraft without some skepticism. Of course, she's not fighting you about it and she's a pagan herself, but she tends to take things with a grain of salt because she considers herself a realist over anything else.
Still, she's very respectful towards your beliefs and helps where she can. I think she's very big into vulture culture too, so she will drop some bones at you if you like that. She's very knowledgeable about the world around her and will lend you some pointers for your craft. If you mentioning needing anything, she'll get it for you too.
Aya has a habit of just,,, buying you things. She thinks that's really cute. Will ask you about your practice from time to time because if there's any festivals coming up, important dates, she's definitely going to keep that in mind for you. Also kinda,,, enjoys participating, she just likes spending time with you.
I have a feeling she's the kind of woman to bring you pretty gems and stuff too. She learns their meanings and stuff to gift them to you so if you're feeling upset or need a pick me up, you have something kinda nice. Amethysts, lapis, citrine, tiger's eye, but rose quartz the most just to show you how much she loves you.
Evie
Look me in the eye and tell me Evie isn't a witch. Come on, try it. It's hard to deny it, I mean, her canon love interest runs a curio shop and she's believes in ghosts? I think Evie is absolutely a witch and does so by the book because I find that so,,,, Evie.
Her practice is very clean cut, kept to the books of course, and what most people think of when they think of witches. I'd say she's the most classic type of witch, and her practice is mostly green witchery, some divination, watching lunar cycles and fire. She's always attached to her grimoire. She has little notes in there for you too.
I feel the two of you do a lot of studying together? What do certain herbs and crystals mean, lunar cycles, color magic, all that kind of stuff. When I mean Evie is textbook, I genuinely mean that. She enjoys divination and will often have tarot sessions with you because she likes practicing and is also lowkey vetting if it's real or not. We cannot deny Evie's logical nature.
The two of you are pretty in tune with each other's craft and yes, you observe common holidays together. It's quite sweet. I don't think Evie is big on deity work though, but she doesn't mess around with her guides either.
Your house always smells like incense, or the warm comfort of scented candles. She likes fire and is not shy to admit so. There is wax on every table. Twine too. You have multiple candle wick trimmers because Evie appreciates the aesthetics of some of them. There's a few skulls around the house too.
Jing Liang
I think she's a Chinese folk religion/magic practitioner and also follows general Chinese paganism, her patroness being the goddess Mazu. She's got an altar for her in your home in the direction of the water. Her practice focuses on the sea, and so too does all of her love.
I think the two of you need to be by large bodies of water or the sea itself. She likes meditating out there and leaving gifts for the ocean when she can. She leaves them from you, from her, friends, little tokens to ask for blessings of safety and good health.
If you've ever wanted help with some ancestor worship, she's got you. Ancestor altars are around in your home. The scent of burning incense, oranges laid out, peaches, things you both think they would find interesting, it's quite sweet. Will help you with your altars if your deities are like hers and isn't above reading about your deities to help you get more in tune with them too. She's very helpful and loves to spoil you when she can.
She loves to hear about your practice as well, and when able, will tell you parts of hers too. Jing Lang is fascinated with every part of you, and learning about your beliefs, practices, it gives her future reference so she can gift you things to help with that. She does have a habit of giving you fruits though for your altars,,,,
Jing Lang is also into kitchen witchery as well. She teaches you how to make some things from her home, things her mother taught her and so on, and they're used for certain holidays. She's just as involved in yours too. Gets you little things to help and reminds you about things that are culturally yours. Absorbs it all like a sponge if she's able tbh.
