"...It's just surgery..." It's spooky season, which is the perfect time to give Candela Obscura a try! It has some deeply emotional cinematic moments that felt like daggers to the heart. I've absolutely enjoyed it!
assorted needle & thread sketches from the past month!! happy last thursday to those who celebrate
we pay our respects to the circle of needle and thread, wherever they may be...
So last night I was super cranky and not feeling good, so I made some memes. Then I realized the reason my brain and body were both Bad™️ all day was I had forgotten to take my meds the night before. Then today I slept so late I thought it was already Thursday.
Don't be like me kids. Take your meds. And if you feel Bad™️, check your little pill caddy to make sure you didn't forget.
Anyway enjoy my withdrawal memes (*^3^)/~♡
I know they’re two completely different CR games, two completely different characters, and two completely different actors, but that scene of Occtis, in the afterlife, confused and bewildered about what’s happening to him, knowing there’s a problem, and instinctively attempting to stitch his own soul back together …
Did anyone else get a flashback to one Dr Jinnah Basar, and “It’s just surgery”?
Nothing concrete. Two very different characters and circumstances. I just love that it was his first instinct. Life, death, magic, souls, reality unravelling, whatever. If you see a wound, do a surgery about it.
I feel like if he’d washed up out of death into a different universe, Dr Jean would have been very happy to pick that boy up and put him back on his feet and teach him some things about stitching.
