I’m not sure if this is Suho’s death bed or yours but I’ll pretend it’s Suho’s
“Jinseok” A weak voice called out, it sounded rough, kind of unpleasant for the ear, raspy and tired. The male jumped in his spot. Had he ever heard Suho calling out his real name? He couldn’t remember so. Maybe when they met, like just met, it was a long time ago. Since then his nickname had always been sweety with Suho’s flase promise to find him something better in the future. For a while Jinseok really believed it but now he knew better than that.
The bunny went to his friend’s side and smiled at him, trying to hold back tears. “Yes honey?” He tried faking himself cheerful, tried smiling for Suho as he knew how much Suho loved smiles. It came out so flase, Suho could see right through it.
What had been killing Suho though, Jinseok didn’t know. He didn’t know how Suho had ripped out one of his hearts, though in fact he wasn’t sure Jinseok even knew he had two. He didn’t know how he tried saving his friend when they were dying. His blood, it can both kill and save, it all depends how to use it. His heart being ripped out and placed in another’s chest could—
Suho stopped at that thought. What was the use? He failed and not only that, he hadn’t been feeding as he should have either and so he couldn’t bring himself to heal in time. It resulted in this, Suho had literally killed himself with his own bare hands.
A shaky breath left Suho, almost a sigh. “I’m sorry I have to leave” His words came out softer and softer, soon they were no more than a whisper, soon they were barely even audible. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be your friend longer and watch you grow happy with lots of bunnies of your own. I’m sorry I couldn’t make you smile more…” Suho’s eyelids grew heavier, soon it was hard for him to stay awake. “I’m sorry I made you cry”.
At that Jinseok paused, he couldn’t remember when Suho made him cry and he was about to open his mouth to protest before he felt a drop on his hand, looking down he realized tears were rolling down his cheeks, staining the bed. Jinseok grabbed Suho’s hand and held tightly. “Please..don’t leave” His words were muffled through the sobs. “Please…you’re my friend…please don’t leave me alone” A faint smile formed on Suho’s features as his eyes finally closed for the last time, his last breath leaving him with the soft echo of words. “I’m sorry for dying”.
