SYNOPSIS:
This drama tells the story of two men and one woman who are connected in the past and in the present: the detective, the detective’s lover and the serial killer who killed her. Their story goes back around 32 years. Their fate seems to be forever intertwined.

MY THOUGHTS:
I originally started watching this drama because it starred two of my favorite Korean actors (Jang Kiyong & Lee Soohyuk) and I got interested in the story as its plot was something new. I was also interested to see in how the love triangle and the story would progress throughout the episodes.
I can honestly say that the cast did a wonderful job with the show. The way they were acting really got me hooked. There really were some scenes that got me rolling around in my bed squealing because I was feeling some romantic excitement while watching (mostly with scenes between Lee Soohyuk and Jin Seyeon).
But, there were also some points in the drama that I got a bit annoyed with how the show was being written. Though the show started out really well, it started getting a little too messy in the middle and towards the end. In all honesty, I couldn’t tell who was the male lead between Soohyuk and Kiyong (I was kind of rooting for Soohyuk) in the earlier episodes. However, I soon realized who the male lead was in the latter episodes. And I wasn’t really surprised.
I have to admit though I am happy that Kiyong’s character got a happy ending. His character really deserved it after everything he’s been through. Although, I kind of wish we had more closure with Soohyuk’s character?
Anyway, I’d say that Born Again was a good drama. I think it just depends on the person watching. There are some people who may not like it, but there will also be people who do like it.
