I ship jinko because Zuko risked imprisonment and death just to see Jin smile.
@jintletealeaf said: ❝ You don't have to be jealous , you know ? ❞ Jin said gently as she played with her empty teacup . ❝ It . . . it was just a kiss . ❞
“Who said I’m jealous of him?” He asks, tone obviously irritated by the subject of Lee. Or should he say the Liar Lord. “So you took him to the firelight fountain and kissed him so you could have a little romantic moment like the night your parents fell in love. It’s not like that’s a big deal or anything. Shouldn’t bother me at all.” He crossed his arms over his chest, a huff of breath making his bangs float up momentarily.”
The quiet boy
Closed rp with @jintletealeaf
He didn't know who he really was, just what he looked like in mirrors and reflections- from the scar on his neck he seemed to be a non fire bender- Lawrence was the only thing he remembered. And to thank the woman who helped him, he started working for her tea shop. Not like he could go anywhere with this gap in his memory.
One thing he remembered is that he had a...unique ability, he summoned something otherworldly. But he'd keep it from Jin for now...who know how she'd react.
For now he worked there as well, wearing a similar outfit sans his hat of course, that never came off.
"Enjoy your tea."

Zuko loves those cute Earth Kingdom girls ☺️
Zuko moved briskly down the line of holding cells, the scroll in his hand steadily filling with checked names. Most of the apprehended were petty thieves and extortionists, some with ties to the city's lingering criminal factions. His expression remained stern, the flicker of a flame dancing in his palm to read the names by.
He was near the end of the corridor when his eyes caught the next name on the list, and then he stopped in his tracks.
Jin.
The world tilted slightly beneath him. His hand fell to his side, the flame extinguishing without thought. He stepped forward before he could process what he was doing, pushing past the guards without a word at first.
“Open this cell,” he said, his voice a low but urgent growl. “Now. Unbind her.”
The guards hesitated, but a glance at the Fire Lord’s face sent them moving quickly.
As the door clanked open and the bindings came away, Zuko stepped inside. His gaze met hers for the first time in over a year, and everything else vanished.
“Jin...” he breathed, barely more than a whisper.
His face crumpled with pain, eyes soft with something heartbreakingly vulnerable as he stepped forward and pulled her into his arms. One hand settled gently against the back of her head, the other wrapped around her waist as he held her tightly, protectively. He pressed a kiss to her hair, a quiet exhale escaping against her temple.
“What in Agni’s name are you doing in here?” he murmured, his voice raw with disbelief and worry. “Are you alright?”
