[ANNOUNCEMENT] Won Jiho terminates contract with 2k Ent; OK:GO to continue with 5 members.

On March 5th, OK:GO’s management team and singer Jiho announced that he will be terminating his contract with Double Kill Entertainment. When pressed about his reasoning, the former idol said that he felt “as if there was too much happening all at once”. He then went on to say that he plans to keep in contact with the boys.

A representative for 2K posted a comment on their official site about the lineup change.

Hello, this is Kwon-suk,

Following the news of Jioh departure, the boys have decided to continue with their promotions and schedules. Prior to his contract termination, Jioh has spoken to his manager and our team to discuss what this would mean for his future - and the group’s. The company feels that in this time, it would be best for them to move forward without adding a new member to their lineup.

So far, nothing has been heard from the members of the group; their official instagram account still has pictures of Jioh on it.

Jioh was said to be joining the group before their debut but plans of such were erased when OKGO still only had 5 members.

Before fan wars break out - i would like to say that we need to stand by the guys in this time not fight amongst ourselves. What kind of fans would we be if we just turned our backs on them? No one knows why g.o oppa left but we can support his decision and hope for the best
