“If it weren't for Semantic Error I wouldn't have been noticed with "The Murky Stream" (Disney+ K-drama). Before doing that project I seriously considered quitting artistic activities. Because I was serving in the military during SE, it was a bit frustrating as it was the first time since my debut that I received a real 'spotlight'. I'm also curious about her new agency, will they treat and manage her better compared to the previous one? Many fans have been eagerly waiting for drama casting news, but some are starting to feel disappointed since there hasn’t been much fanservice or updates from her or the agency, even though expectations were high after the move 🙏

Kim Sohyun’s career

Seems like she’s going to be one of the main characters. It screams to me main character energy. If she’s not the lead, she’s part of the mains. I also see that she’s going to be a character with a depth to their background. In that movie she could have suffered from depression/anxiety/social anxiety and possibly harrassment. She’s been ostracized but she’d meet someone who will break her shell and isolation tendencies and make her become someone new. I don’t know what type of series she plays on mostly, but there is romance in it. But it’s not the principal topic. It seems like it’s more related to something that has to do with society/a compagny/a family. Something inherited. I think of « The Penthouse ». I don’t know if there will be deaths for sure, but it does seem like she will incarn a character that would have been rejected by her family but she’s going to take revenge somehow, with the help of trustworthy people.

How will her agency treat her?

Not fairly. Lots of fights. Possibly because contract clauses. Also not the same creative view? They do not share the same vision and values career wise and financially wise. I also believe that things will be disorganized behind the scenes but they’ll still manage to move through it. I don’t believe they’ll mistreat her physically but possibly mentally? Like, being super condescending and not listening to her suggestions. She’ll probably work with co-workers she does not get along well with but they’ll force her to.
