Hehe... so you noticed. I don’t usually reveal this to other ‘mons other than to scare them off, but there are exceptions. As long as the humans aren’t looking... which they aren’t, so here goes.

Heh... awe-inspiring, ain’t it? What you just saw was the closest y’all can get to comprehendin’ my true form. The name’s Samael! I’m the local grim reaper, guider of souls to the afterlife. The humans and Pokémon who don’t know my true nature call me “Sam”! Nice to meet ya.

But to properly answer your question, yes and no. I’ve existed for a very, very long time, but was only born into this world in the body of a Zubat years ago. Physically, I’m around as old as Estello here. We go waaaay back.

STILL FREAKED ME THE FUCK OUT WHEN I FIRST SAW HIS TRUE FORM. HE’S GLAD HE’S HELPED ME OUT ENOUGH TIMES FOR ME TO EVEN TRUST HIM.
