i dont think i talk enough about inter-oc relationships so jirahn is someone maedis actually loves like family and jirahn loves him back but neither of them have ever said it of course. they say in other ways, because theyre very similar people and maedis looks up to her a lot and was, in a way raised by her (kind of like , his second go at being a person again after 3 horrible shit years) 

a lot of his mannerisms he got from her (rolling his eyes all the time? jirahn does that shit too lmao) and he considers her his true family . shes his adoptive grandma and jirahn has seen sides of him that literally no one else has (she got him out of Jev’s Shithole Bandit Gang so shes seen him at his absolute worst)
