Cocotte annoys him constantly but he leans on her emotionally after the tournament of power because he was super isolated then. Toppo asked her to go to planets were he isolated himself and trained so that she can work her magic. She didn't sugercoat things or leave Jiren alone and thats how he got on track with this path to emotional and mental recovery. Funfact! For the longest time, Jiren was slightly starving himself because he had no idea that he was a obligate carnivore (in my headcanons at least) and only had the regular carnivore diet in the Pride Trooper rations and dishes. It was only post tournament he realized when Toppo read the logs about his species. Siljica'Graliens (Jirens species), are practically almost just gone and had disappeared after the creature that killed them, so they don't have a lot of scientific logs. Jiren doesn't like to get prodded at, and the planet they were on wasn't documented either.

Idea that the Grand Zeno's bodys can randomly pulsate and change because they don't care about mantaining their forms as much (especially compared to the Angels), and they are just literally Everything as a whole

Sure thing!! Generally speaking, they do not spend a lot of time with each other as you would think, like maybe "visits" every 2-3 days a month. They also are way less romantic than what I pictured them before and are more friends with benefits(?) to say in a more SFW manner as that's what it truly is :\ Jiren is kinda just "ok, i can live with this..." about the relationship, and still tries to focus on training and other parts of his life. The Grand Priest (Maeda if you want to use his real name) is a LOT more wary of their relationship and pretty much keeps it more "professional". Maeda sometimes slips in personality and can seem more charming and warm, but that shuts right down once he notices. Although, Jiren is a person to find differences in everything, so their hot-cold personality is easily seen by him. Basically nobody is really truly aware of their relationship, not even the angels. Zeno knows, just not what exactly they do and Belmod and Toppo has some hints about it. I lot of the characterization back then was just willfully heavy mischaracterization </3 also extra notes mostly because i dont wanna make a seperate post Jiren goes by he/they while the GP goes by any pronouns in the whole wide cosmos Jiren is demi-nonbinary and the GP is technically agender as is all the other angels
