“This movie sucks. I have always wondered how they can’t know they are producing a shitty movie?” His lips curled down in a light frown. “We should get another movie from the redbox?”
Jiyeon suppressed a chortle. She found his blunt phrasing humorous and was inclined to agree. Sometimes, movies were so bad they were good, but this one continued to sit in the realm of “trying-too-hard-yet-not-quite-succeeding”. She sat upright and tugged her ponytail tighter before shuffling over to eject the dvd.
“Mm nah, I don’t feel like hopping in the car to check out a new one. Why don’t we try Netflix or Hulu for something? And you know what else will help with all this?” She drifted away into the kitchen, reemerging moments later with a wine bottle and two clear glasses in hand, giving them a presentational wiggle.
