“Come on.” She raised her eyebrows as if to say really? “I don’t think that. I’ve never said that. Ever.” Except that she had. Many times. June tended to say it whenever the other girl said she didn’t have the time to hang out. Even when she didn’t say it directly it was sometimes insinuated. “… Okay maybe I do say it a lot. But it’s all in good fun!” She shrugged her shoulders with a grin. “I’m just messin’ with you. Plus it should be a compliment. I’m suggesting you’ve got game.” It wasn’t like June would have the room to judge anyway. Not that she would, but… she really didn’t. So her continuously suggesting she had someone over was more teasing than seriously accusing. “But if it makes you uncomfortable I’ll totally stop?”
