[OOC: Trigger Warning ahead: Drugs, so let’s take this under the cut.]
But where would he go? Sun risen to light up the day after, burning his eyes, and he still feels dazed and lax. Sitting up in bed hasn’t even been an option, only staring at the wall before inevitably turning over (confident he hadn’t overdosed the night before). This is the most movement he’s done all day, and he feels better now, able to really stretch his legs and relieve his back from the pressure of laying curled into a fetal position. Were his muscles not so lax, his contentment would be clear with a smile.
But for now, he lies in bed, lips barely parted, perfect in mood and mentality. There’s nothing to worry about anymore, nothing to even think about. There is only Kita-chan by his side. Thinking about what they did to Naotsugu, to Suguri, has her glaring at the other girl from a distance as she works to combat her impulses.
Anxious taps of the foot year to be settled with an avenging violence. She’s already gripped the hilt of one of her short blades, but still, she has to manage some kind of calm. Starting a fight--well, trying to kill, really--with a so-called “ally” wouldn’t look good for the Tachibana at all.
