So on this past Monday I was blessed with the opportunity to witness one of my #Bjj friends get promoted to Black Belt. Let me tell you something, this is a major event that deserves more than a Congratulations. For those that don't know, Brazilian jiu-jitsu is one of the hardest martial arts to obtain black belt, usually taking about 10 years. The day of promotion he had to fight 12 - 16 rounds straight 😬 (Bjj cardio different 😳🤪) To get to this point, obviously over the years, you never gave up, worked past the pain, overcame disappointment, and faced your fears.
