rise and shine

a fisherman is trying to sell her a carp for a ridiculous price and yoori argues with him, attempting to haggle him down. no, she doesn't care if it has magic powers because she's just going to release it back to the sea-- she lives in an apartment, not a house with a pond to put the poor thing in, and she doesn't fancy spending so much money on one fish to eat either. convincing him of this is next to impossible. yoori thinks she's wearing him down, but just when she sees him faltering, the sun turns up the luminence and the most bubblegum pop song to ever bubblegum quite literally pops in her ears.
she jolts awake, a groan leaving her as she blindly pats around for her cellphone. it's not it's usual place on her bedside table nor is it on her person (there's *nothing* on her person, in fact). another groan and she begins unraveling herself from the blankets until she's free to sit up. she bravely opens her eyes and quickly seeks out her discarded pants, finding them right near the bed, grabbing them with her toes and pulling them near her. her phone within reach, she yanks it free of her pocket and turns off the alarm before finally collapsing backwards onto the bed.
"how do you function having a hangover with those sheer curtains?" she questions aloud to her bed partner, wherever she may be, a slight whine to her voice as she casts a glare at said curtains. the previous night's little activities had come back to her somewhere between her toe aerobics and... the obviousness she's not in her own room. rude awakening or not, she knows nothing about her and jiwoo's fun last night would be absent from her mind at all forever.
