ken grew up surrounded by ladies, that's why it will be no surprise if i tell you that he have a romantic scene in mind. he still remembers that day, that was when he first learned why dancing in the rain is sweet and romantic. that same day he had engraved in his mind and decided that he will have this special moment with a special someone. he'll make sure of it. ken holds out his hand, beads of water meeting the palm of his hand. he turns to you, a playful smile playing on his lips, "you have an umbrella?" you shake your head to his question. tilting your head to the side, you poke his side to bring his attention back to you, "why are you happy that we'll soon be drenching wet?"
ken looks back at you, the same smile still present on his face. taking your hand and wrapping it around his neck, he slowly guides you as the two of you begin swaying side to side while the rain starts to pour down. at first, ken didn't know how dancing under the rain is sweet and romantic, if anything it's the complete opposite. but having the moment with the right person made him realize the things he might had missed out. for the nth time, he's thankful for the people who took care of him. because if not for them, he would not have this moment with you. the two of you clinging onto each other for warmth yet no one dared to break away and find shelter, a big smile on both your lips.

koutarou has been playing under the endless drop of water, it was pouring for about half an hour already. you watch as he closes his eyes and faces the sky. he's carefree as ever, a great embodiment of a free man. koutarou snaps out of his cloud nine, looking towards your direction, "y/n! come and join me!" you immediately shake your head at his offer, hoping to watch and maybe take a candid photo or two of him. however, koutarou has another plan in mind, with a last tug of your wrist, he successfully got you to join him. as if hypnotized, you feel the cold water hitting the top of your head and shoulder simultaneously.
koutarou grins ear to ear as you become lost in his shiny golden-like eyes. he threaded his fingers in between yours and set the pace of your dance, not just the normal slow dance but the dance that the elderly do when they're happy. koutarou swings both your hands back and forth, his gleeful laughter making you soft as you follow his lead. soon, the two of you goes all out. giggles and squeals can be heard as koutarou spins you around and mimics you not long after. "kou you're not supposed to twirl!" you exclaim while wiping your eyes from the water it accumulated, "well, it's not fair that you get to spin around while i don't!"

after bidding goodbye to junpei, you turn on your heel and ponder on your thoughts accompanying it with a little hum. the farewell didn't last long when his voice fills your ears, "y/n! i like you!" your eyes widen at this, making you freeze in place. as if on cue, the rain starts to pour, not just a simple droplet of rain, it's the heavy kind as if it sympathizes with him. "i've liked you for a while now, y/n. i can understand if you don't feel the same but i want my feelings to be known!" junpei's nails dig through his palm, with his head down he continues. "i would also understand if you wouldn't want to be friends anymore," his voice barely above whisper.
you smile to yourself and turn around to cup his face with your hands. the tears that've been running down your face blended well with the droplets of water that kisses every part of your skin. you've been waiting for this day to come just as much as he was, "took you long enough," you say while leaning in to give him a slow and passionate kiss. junpei thought this would be the right time to let his feelings be known and it turns out he was right. after pulling away, both your smiles reach from ear to ear. you lean in and rest the side of your head against his chest, letting out a sigh of satisfaction. you hear the fast beating of his heart while he guides you to slowly sway your hips side to side. his hand rubs your back while the other finds its way to your hands, interlocking his fingers with yours.

junpei smiles at himself while making his way towards your meeting place. today, he finally decides on making his move and that is to buy you a sentimental gift.
he gathered all his courage to give you a promise ring, the ring that both of you can look back to. maybe even tell your future kids about it too.
but today is not the right time, he reminded himself as he pocketed the box. the moment still doesn't feel right, he kept telling himself to wait a little more and it'll all be worth it.
your relationship with him has always been open. be it something like a burden, happiness, or just straight-up nonsense.
both of you can't get enough of each other, you two will do anything just to feel the other's presence and hear each other's voice.
"i met a new friend today" he said while stroking your hair as you lay on his chest, you have your eyes closed humming to let him know that you're listening.
"his name's yuji, i think he'll be a great friend" you smile looking up at him, he rarely considers someone to be his friend.
god knows how he will rather be alone than call someone his friend, "we get along well" he added, this makes you smile wider reaching out to cup his cheeks.
"i'm happy for you, darling" he smiles back at you. "i want you to meet him too" he exclaim with enthusiasm, you can't help but giggle at his reaction.
"i'm itadori yuji" the boy in front of you mutters, both of you surrounded by gloom. it was your first time meeting the only friend your boyfriend ever considered.
this was not how you envision turning out, here he is standing in front of you as he mumbles out the words that wouldn't register in your mind.
yuji's grip around the box tight, his words heavy as he recalls the event.
your the lovely lady that junpei kept mentioning to him, his sweet girlfriend whom he will give the box that he is now holding, the girl with whom he plans on spending his whole life.
yet yuji is the one holding it, the owner nowhere to be found. "i'm sorry" his voice trembles, eyes getting teary, yuji's mind continues to blame himself.
he could have done something... anything just to stop and prevent this outcome.
yuji takes your hand and gently places the item on your palm, closing your fingers around the velvet box that holds the ring inside.
"he was planning on giving you this today" he inhaled deeply closing his eyes, "he also told me, he was gonna introduce me to you. told me i was gonna be his best man soon" he chuckles a little.
as yuji relives how surprised he was when junpei told him that. yuji lets go of your hand while your gaze stays at the box, your whole body trembling.
he gulps seeing your state, his shoulders slouched. "i could've done something," this made you look up at him.
first time making eye contact with him ever since he stood in front of you. "it-" yuji holds up a hand, shaking his head. a bittersweet smile presents on his face,
"but i didn't. it is my fault. i take full blame for ruining the beautiful future that was ahead of you two." he lets out a shaky breath, "once again, i'm sorry. i'll leave to give you some time alone."
you hold the box close to your heart, eyes following his every move as his frame becomes a blur.
not having the strength to utter words out, a whimper slips past your lips, reality is still not sinking in for you.
he won't come back, he's never coming back. your mind never crossed the thought of a world without yoshino junpei, but here you are standing with the ring he was supposed to give you.

aoi soon continues her words, "fushiguro megumi, kugisaki nobara, yoshino junpei, and my brother itadori yuji. these are the six, that i, by my name as todo aoi..."
mei mei fixes her hair following aoi's words, "and i, by my name mei mei" the two utters in sync declaring the goal for the meeting, "...recommend for first grade"
nobara looks back at the three boys she’s currently with, “quit being a slowpoke.” you smile at nobara, “let’s calm down now, there’s a lot of sale we haven’t check out yet.”
nobara looks back to you then at the three, she huffs and links arms with you, “you guys are lucky they’re with us or else i would’ve beaten all of you to pulp,” she excitedly walks with you to yet another store that’s having a sale.
“but they’re my partner,” junpei mutters, looking at the two’s retreating back, hand reaching out that’s full of shopping bags.
yuji chuckles at junpei’s misery, “you gotta get used to it, what’s yours is technically hers too.”
junpei’s mouth drops looking at yuji, “for real?!” the two started conversing, voices getting a bit louder. megumi walks ahead of them, blushing from embarrassment.
“junpei,” yuji nudge his side lightly, the three are ahead of them leaving them a little behind.
he hums quickly glancing at him before looking back at you again, “about the ring,” junpei halts and gives his full attention to yuji.
“what? something wrong?” the pink-haired asks, also stopping. junpei looks down, his shoulders dropping, yuji’s eyes widens.
“you-” junpei didn’t let yuji finish the sentence, just answering him with a nod for confirmation. “that’s it! we’re helping you!” yuji exclaims, full of determination.
“help with what?” megumi pipes in, hands in his pockets. “junpei’s proposal!” yuji smiles at megumi, his usual stoic face faltering after hearing the news.
junpei punches yuji’s arm lightly, blushing from the bold statement. “i’m not proposing!” he turns to megumi clearing the confusion, “it’s a promise ring.”
megumi lets out a small ‘oh.’ “what’s the difference?!” megumi rolls his eyes at his friend, “there’s a big difference.”
you appear in the scene together with nobara who’s glaring at them. “difference with what?” you skip beside junpei, giving him a small smile.
he shakes his head, nervously laughing, “it’s nothing.” you squint your eyes at him making him look away with a small blush.
you hum not wanting to push further, “wanna get ice cream?” you reach out for his hand intertwining your fingers with his.
nobara clicks her tongue, arms crossing over her chest, “boys and their stupid talks.” she turns around leading the way, “she’s extra cranky today,” yuji mutters staring at her retreating back.
you shrug, giving yuji a soft smile, “menstruation maybe?” yuji lets out an exaggerated ‘oh.’
junpei laughs a little while patting yuji on the back, “this is why you’re not popular with girls,” junpei says as yuji looks back at him.
“you’re starting to act like nobara too!” yuji looks at him, frightened. “it’s the truth,” megumi adds in and follows nobara, “and you guys are supposed to be my friends” he mumbles, looking dejected.
“at least, y/n’s nice to me.” you put on a sweet smile, “well truth hurts, yuji.” his lips forms into a pout, walking ahead not before muttering “bullies” under his breath.
the first years are summoned by satoru saying he has another mission for them, “he said it's top secret,” megumi informs them.
nobara shakes her head, “when wasn’t?” yuji soon changes the topic while making their way to ijichi's car.
“nobara’s good with planning surprises,” he says out of the blue causing for the rest of the first years to raise a brow at him.
“the promise ring,” the two boys nods in sync, understanding him. “ring?” nobara slightly tilts her head to the side.
junpei nods at her, pulling out the box from his uniform showcasing the ring. “this... for a promise ring?!” junpei rubs the back of his head.
“is it not nice for a promise ring?” nobara shakes her head, her eyes sparkling from admiration. “you might as well propose to them with this!” junpei blushes at the thought, “don’t be ridiculous, we-we’re still young!” he stutters in panic.
“oh come on, they will say yes,” she gives back the box, “no doubt about it."
junpei looks away, tucking the box back in his uniform pockets, “you never know that” he mumbles, yuji interrupts by clapping his hands together.
“we should make a plan,” in which nobara agreed on, “i’ll do it since it’s y/n.” junpei looks back at nobara and shakes his head, “you really don’t have to,” she waves her hand dismissing his statement, “i’ve already decided.”
for the second time today, you almost tripped on something while blindlessly reaching out.
yuta is doing an awful job telling you where to and not to go, “i'm so sorry y/n” he bows his head even though you’re blindfolded.
he didn’t know how he ended up being the one to assist you when he's really bad at communicating with others, “we’re almost there” he informs you.
you don’t know what to expect since there wasn’t anything special today, your birthday is still months away.
“what's with today yuta?” you face where you think he was which yuta corrects, “it won’t be a surprise anymore if i tell you.”
that didn’t stop you from trying to know until you feel one last little push, “huh? yuta?” you aimlessly try to find him until you feel someone take both your hands.
you try to retract your hands but stop once you hear a familiar voice, “it’s me,” junpei’s soft voice reaches your ears.
junpei slowly removes the blindfold off you, you blink trying to clear your blurry vision. once you did, you see all the effort and preparation put in all of this.
flower petals are thrown everywhere, fairy lights decorating the tree, to wrap it all up love songs softly playing in the background.
he's always been the romantic type and he never fails to amaze you every time, you look at him with pure adoration in your eyes.
you start to panic holding his hands, “i-is it our anniversary?!” you stumble with your words, feeling terrible for forgetting such an important milestone.
junpei shakes his head, smiling at you, “i wanna give you something, darling” you nod and wait for him to continue.
“y/n, my love. you’ve been with me through everything, may it be a pleasant or bad memories, you're always there by my side. you’ve always come to pick me back up to my feet when i'm down..." he takes a deep breath.
he continues, "what i’m trying to say is… will you grow old with me?” junpei looks into your teary eyes, “i want to be by your side until my last breath, you’re my everything y/n” he opens the box and showing the ring.
“of course i would baby,” you hold his face and close the gap between the two of you, kissing him passionately.
after pulling away, he slide the ring on your ring finger. “this is just to seal our promise, you better fulfill them” he sniffs and chuckles at his shakiness.
you lightly hit his arm while laughing, “you know that i would” he kisses the back of your hand admiring the ring.
“this is beautiful darling, you’ve always been a sweetheart” you hold his hand and look around.
“i love you” you smiled at him, “i love you more” he pecks your lips, the group coming out from their hiding spot.
clinking of glasses echoes the room accompanied by loud cheers of best wishes. yuji swings his arm around junpei who's laughing with you not long ago.
“you remember junpei?” both of you look at yuji, a little lost with his sudden outburst. “when we helped you with your first proposal?” yuji’s words are slur as he continues to rant.
“ahh that does bring back memories,” you smile at the thought, you bring your hand up and look at the ring.
“and now look at you!” yuji starts getting emotional, the alcohol may have started to kick in. “two of my best friends will get married soon,” he sniffs, tears now running down his face.
nobara laughs at drunk yuji while maki scolds him for drinking too much, it’s amazing how the group stayed together throughout the years.
even after graduating, all of them, including you knowing how they grew fond of you, making sure to stay in contact.
junpei smiles in malice, he decides to add more on yuji’s emotional state, he pats yuji’s back as megumi assists him.
“go and have your rest, best man.” yuji looks at junpei with big puppy eyes, his brain processing the information before breaking out in tears.
“be-best man?!” toge laughs in the background holding two thumbs up while panda stops maki from pouncing on toge for fuelling on junpei’s actions.
the group is already in their twenties yet one thing that never changes is how chaotic it has always been.
they really did bring out the best of junpei, you remember how he finally opens up to them and how he warmed up to the second years during the kyoto goodwill event.
it was tough for junpei at first, his experience would be best described as how yuta was treated back in his 1st year.
but the big difference is that junpei has yuji, with yuji's persistent approach and friendliness they soon take a liking of junpei.
the group feels more like a family than a bunch of friends in junpei's eyes, well for all of you.
it's a little family who you can freely express yourself to. he especially got close to toge, they talked about movies, planned pranks on the other students, they’ve made really good memories alongside each other. thus, toge’s antics rubs off on him.
you giggle and look down at the rings, it’s beautiful seeing them together.
“daddd, i’m already grown up” your child whines at junpei who’s babying him, “no, you’re not” he denies as he fixes your child’s collar.
the two of you are now married and have a child together, “come on now dad, stop that” you tease junpei, siding with your child.
the kid flashes a big smile and runs to you, jumping in your arms sticking their tongue out at him.
junpei huffs, crossing his arms and faking to be upset. “guess you won’t get ice cream later,” his tone in a sing-song manner, knowing their weakness.
the kid gasps loudly and looks at him with the most betrayed expression, their little banter is soon interrupted by a greeting.
“junpei-sensei!” one of his students greets making you smile fondly at the sight, he’s really come a long way.
his students who've always looked up to him and respected him. they never miss a chance to greet him outside the school, junpei smiles at his students greeting them in return.
this is yoshino junpei’s simple life, married to his first love, a small family with them, a supportive group of friends he made through the years, and finally a job that he loves doing.
this all happened because of the one decision he made that changed everything for the path ahead of him.
all because he put his trust on his long time friend, itadori yuji.

if ever he's the only one remaining and all of you are watching his gameplay, he gets all shaky
"stop, i'm shaking so much" he muttered on his mic while his character slides and jumps trying to find a good spot
but gets cheered up by the team, specially you
if it's the other way around, you're the last member. he will praise you nonstop;
your breath hitched as you see all your teammates get taken down one after another, good thing you manage to get into revival flight before your last teammate died. your teammates immediately reassuring you, lots of 'you got this' and 'you can do it' echoing your ears.
your character went down in front of the airdrop, you cursed seeing it has nothing in it, not even a rifle with a single bullet. you had no choice but to pick up the rocket launcher, you gotta use what's available. "enemy, enemy" your teammate alerted, you turn around and made some distance between the two of you as the enemy rains down bullets at you.
you used the rocket launcher doing some damage to the enemy, sadly you got taken out first. all of you groan as your screen shows big number 3, indicating your place. you felt yuta come closer to your side hugging you, "you did great, that was badass" he showers you with kisses causing you to giggle.

well mostly because the team have lots of shotgun users
a lil side story; pls our clan master taught me how to use sniper and do hip-fire but my dumbass can never adapt (ಥ﹏ಥ) but one thing i did learn was use shotgun, it all worked out in the end ig ┐(´～｀)┌
he's the strategist of the team
will instruct you all what to do and not to do
an enemy squad approaching? he's already spurting out tactics as all of you took position listening to him
you are not that good with games like this compare to him but with all the one on one lessons he gave you, you can say that you're pretty decent with it. plus it was also another way of spending time with him.
you kept a look-out for the team as they take their needed loots, the team just did a flawless squad wipe thanks to junpei's strategies. your eyes caught something moving in the corner, just as you were about to say something bullets starts pouring at junpei's direction.
luckily, the enemy is within your range and you easily took them out without breaking a single sweat. junpei let out a whistle, pulling away from his phone for a moment to give you a quick peck on the lips, smiling down on his screen, "good job, love" you can't help but smile, this is definitely the best way to spend time with him.

there's this one time, he was waiting for the revival flight he saw your gameplay;
you scope in and move it to at least get a hit on the enemy. once you were confident on your aim, you pushed the fire button but it didn't even land a hit on the enemy. you heard a snort beside you as you groan, "that was so bad" he commented.
you glare at him, giving a reasonable excuse "the enemy was moving!" you were not wrong though, the enemy was indeed moving. smh mahito, you cocky bastard.
there's also this moment, where there's only two squads left. your team and an enemy squad;
you saw a lone enemy that had no clue with their surrounding, so you took this opportunity for a perfect ambush. you opted for a shotgun wanting to get closer to the enemy, once you were in range you began spamming the fire button as you circle around them.
at the same time you also took damage, you were reloading your shotgun but before you can finish doing so, your character dropped dead and a dog tag was displayed on your screen. you made a confused noise, mahito running towards your dog tag while laughing loudly. you look at him, a little upset "you really used a whole mag for one person?" he taunted.
his character scanning your dog tag, you cross your arms now more upset. "if i knew there was another one, i would've used two!" you complained, he reaches out to you pinching your cheeks "sure sure" you huff "plus i was reloading" he chuckles pulling you closer to his side, leaving a kiss on your temple.
amihan's note: you tell them about how sweet serenading sounded and wonder how it feels like, now they want to be the one who will do that to you. the thought of serenading just sounds so sweet and intimate for me, i dunno i see that they will totally do this for their s/o 🥺 happy reading!

during this preparation, his time with you decreases which upsets you, however, you try and understand that maybe he's busy. considering his 'best' sensei likes to drop all his works on his student.
though, you can't help but wonder why he won't tell you, it's okay if he have to stay out due to missions, he just have to voice it out.
you sigh at your thoughts before going to sleep, alone in bed once again.
the wait and preparation has all paid off, he serenaded you on your anniversary.
after his little performance for you, "wow, you did that" you said with a big smile, "only want what's best for my love, i kept in mind how you wanted to be serenaded" he told you.
he clears his throat before shyly asking you the question he's been curious to know throughout his little adventure, "now that you've experienced it, how does it feel?"
"i feel loved and lucky to have you" he smiles at you before giving you the biggest hug.
megumi is not one to initiate but he can't hold it back, "i'm lucky to have you too." you gently rock him back and forth, mumbling against his hair, "how'd you remember? that was long ago."
"as soon as you've told me about it, i start to teach myself how to play the guitar" that explains his sudden disappearance.
you hold his face like a delicate piece of glass, he blushes from the way you're looking at him and also because of his confession.
"i love you so much you know that?" you whisper to him as you leave a kiss on the tip of his nose.
he tries to hide of how flustered he is by tackling you in a hug and hides his face on the crook of your neck "i love you too" he mumbles on your skin.

when you mentioned about it, he's already in the midst of finishing his song for you. you don't even have to tell him about it, he already knows and will do it for you.
he wants to give you all the things in the world, you're his first love and relationship, he would like to stay that way until the end. he wants you to be his last too.
when it comes to effort, he never fails to surprise you. he keeps topping his efforts one after another, you can't help but feel like you're the most important person.
which you are to him, that's why when you told him about it, he doubles- no, even triples his efforts. putting all his blood and sweat in composing the song- not just any song but a song about you.
as cliché as it sounds, he played it to you outside your house. he texted you to come out and open your window, you didn't expect him to be outside holding an acoustic guitar with a nervous smile.
he's slightly shaking as he clears his throat. "hey" you softly greeted leaning on your window, finding a comfortable spot.
"i wrote and composed this song, all while i was thinking about you" he confessed to you gently plucking the guitar, looking at you in the eyes.
"junpei, darling" you can't help but hold your hand over your heart as he starts strumming away, his sweet voice filling your ears as you dreamingly enjoy the moment.

i just have a feeling that he knows how to play guitar, maybe he does it to pass time.
the two of you are laying down on his bed, he just got back from overseas. you both enjoy each other's presence so much that you enjoy the comfortable silence between you.
happy with the fact that you're now in each other's side physically. you mumble about it while he was absentmindedly strumming.
he then sits up facing you and you mirroring his actions. he gives you his sweetest smile and starts strumming away.
his voice pouring all emotions as he utter the words out flawlessly. he closes his eyes sometimes, feeling the song completely, pouring his heart out for you.
once he opens his eyes though, he never breaks eye-contact, keeping his gaze with you even if his strumming stutters or played a wrong note sometimes, his melodious voice reaching out to you.
the song ends rather quickly, which makes you question that soon's answered as he explains,
"i made that when i was a kid, i didn't know why i made it... but now i think i do" you can't help but playfully shove his face that teasingly comes closer to you.
"that's so sweet yu," he smiles at you "wanna complete it together?" both of you starts brainstorming about the song and let's just say, it ends up being your theme song.
