Here at Blue Base, we may not be at Otakon, but we've been productive anyway! The amazing Darkfox Photography drove down and shot three of @j-jocosplay‘s costumes. I played handler, hauling ice water, props, and photography equipment from place to place. I also got to be a reflector-holder, and it was absolutely FASCINATING. you know who deserves a shout out? @j-jocosplay. Their cosplays are absolutely phenomenal and it's clear how much effort and love they put into every one. They deserve so much credit for their dedication.

Still grinning to myself about J-Jo’s reaction to her Christmas present last night. (She gave me mine early, so she got hers early.) You know you’ve succeeded at Christmas gifts with J-Jo when she continually repeats “I hate you” while smiling, interspersed with laughter. And she takes about half an hour to say “Thank you,” then promptly follows it with, “I hate you.” Bonus points if she immediately begins playing with the thing you got her and gets giddy over some part of it and cackles about it late into the night.

Mission accomplished.
