IMPORTANT MEETING JKR DREAM
i had a dream that i was at leakycon '14 and my lil sister had gotten on an elevator with a snake so i was going through buildings trying to find her but then my aunt kathy called me over and was like "hey kate look" and she had gotten jkr to come and talk to me !! like jkr was sitting on the floor in the hallway next to my aunt !! like in this crowded hallway but she wasnt there for anybody else just me and as soon as i saw her i fucking burst into tears and i kneeled on the floor and hugged her and she hugged me back and it was this long hug of me sobbing on her and i kept thinking "i need to get my phone out of my pocket and tell someone to get a picture" but then i was like "ill do it after we talk so im not crying in the picture" and my first thought was like "ill text it to aeryn and be like guess who i just met" omg
so anyway i got to sit with her at this table and ask her questions and this is the ~canon info i got from dream!jkr ((and the whole time i was like i cant wait to post this on my blog))
students dont wear anything under their robes besides underclothes ((ive wondered this since ootp ??))
i asked about what that means for quidditch robes then bc that would be awkward and she just gave me this sly smile so ?? i dont know
james is from devon ((bc she couldnt think of a place and i suggested that and she was like "t'you" and i was like "what" and she was like "t'you" and i was like "what" and she was like "to you. it means like good job" and i was like "oh i thought you were saying dew"))
remus is from ?? georgia ?? as in georgia between russia and turkey because she said they had to have his trunk special-made for him or something like that was the evidence she used of making him be a foreign student and i remember being rly confused while she told me that and i was like just nodding like okaaay
wolfstar is canon of course i asked her that and her answer was in the form of a sly smile and nodding
i asked if harrys glasses were the ones the nhs handed out to kids in the 90s and she was like "oh that was on pottermore wasnt it, did you read that ((it wasnt on pottermore irl it just was in my dream idgi))" and i was like "well !! yes but it said they were similar so i didnt know if that meant they were the same ones or they were just made to look like the nhs ones but i figured they were since the dursleys wouldnt want to spend money on him" and she nodded ((im a dork even in my dreams wow))
i asked her if she would make a marauders prequel and she shook her head and i was like "ill pay you a million dollars !! oh but i guess you dont need that" omg
im pretty sure that was it bc my dad kept wandering over and trying to read the notes i was taking so i didnt feel comfortable asking more questions god dang it
