last night was so fun and everyone at liars club was so incredibly nice 🥹 the band each got 2 free drink tokens but it wasn’t even necessary cuz the bartenders never once charged me for a drink. they and the owner and the door guy and the sound woman and the other bands and the regulars were so genuine and i got so many compliments after the show and had so many easy comfortable conversations about playin music n being a new band and this being *my* first band. one bartender makes the merch for the bar, including thrifting jackets and putting back patches (that he designed) on them himself, and at the end of the night he just walks up to me holding one like “whatdya think?” and has me try it on to make sure it fit - it was a Perfect fit - and just Gives it to me 🥹 and we had so many friends come out to see us, and they were all so excited for us n shoutin from the front row 🥰
i said it before, i was kinda nervous cuz ive always thought liars club is just so truly fuckin cool, and the whole ride home i was just smilin away like “they like us! :3 :3” the couple friends of mine in bands that play there play there a lot and are friends with the staff and the owner and it’s like, idk, just a cool fuckin in crowd there and i feel like ima get to be a part of it :3
