a ( sorta ) in depth guide of gifts
DINNER. since they probably were busy with work Yoongi cooked all Jimin’s favorite foods. a few dishes include: kimchi bokkeumbap, jjajangmyeon, mandu, and fruit salad.
CHANEL. of course, chanel needs to be included. since Jimin’s always on his “tall” agenda what better than a pair of heeled boots.
CODE. what appears to be an innocent birthday card actually holds the code to Yoongi’s studio. finally he’s giving him the code and this way, if he forgets Jimin can always remind him. it’s written in a way that only Jimin will get it in case anyone else finds the card. ( the code is when they found their cat baby! 🥺 )
SURPRISE PARTY. planned with the help of Taehyung who’s job was to keep Jimin out of the dorm for most of the day. balloons all over the ceiling, confetti, streamers, and lots of champagne! party hats, big happy birthday signs, karaoke, and gifts from all the boys!
LEMON CHEESECAKE. since we know Jimin likes cheesecake and tart. Yoongi practiced it probably three times before he could make a decent enough one for Jimin’s birthday. Jungkook definitely put trick candles in it or like those massive sparklers.
SONG. Jimin’s been asking for years and Yoongi’s made a few songs, many he couldn’t give to him yet. but, he finally made a track that’ll be brilliant with Jimin’s vocals. the flash drive holds the only copy of the track and is ready for whenever Jimin wants to work on it together.
NECKLACE. i almost did the expensive diamond route, but decided a little initial seemed like something Jimin would wear. it was a struggle to find the exact letter in silver so gold it is. pretend there’s another necklace that’s layered with a little 13.
To my sun, happy birthday! I thought I'd be welcoming you to club thirty, but since our age law changed I guess you've got another year. If our days apart have shown me anything it's that I'm so grateful to have you in my life. Through the lows, you've become a guiding light. Here's to many more birthdays together, love.

the gift explanation that probably doesn't need that much explaining lol. but i imagine jimin got a day off and they could celebrate!!
CERTIFICATE. a hand carved wooden marriage certificate. yoongi did say he'd make one for jimin 💛
DINNER. yoongi reserved a private room for them to have a nice fancy~ dinner. he of course also probably just made them noodles on a different occasion since jimin loves his spicy noodles.
FLOWERS. crystal floweres instead of live ones so they'd last when jimin is done with service.
CATS. okay these are kind of filler pics but i wanted cute cats in it!! it's cats and cuddling time.
WATCH. i don't know if this watch is in stock technically. it is a cartier moon phase day/night watch. engraved with promise lyrics "you could be your night"
BRACELETS. long distance bracelets. they can vibrate and light up when you touch them. there were some really ugly ones so these were as close as we got to not super obvious couple bracelets.
Happy birthday, Jimin! I wish I could be there with you today. You're in my thoughts today and my heart always. I'm working hard to get through my training and back to you. the gifts! that don't really need explaining but here it is anyways.
date. surprise! he showed up and took him out to a ramen bar. he wrote it in the card like he wasn't there but still surprised him. made some hotteok since that was actually confirmed.
watch box. they are agresti watch boxes. they don't have prices on the website but they seemed fancy. they're italian made.
figure. this is pretty self-explanatory. zoro figure! it's one of the more expensive figures. box studio one.
plushie. he had to get jimin a plushie too. i was so torn on which ones ... but this one is like body pillow size so he can hug it when yoon's away.
letters. this was before we found out they visited. yoongi collected letters from jin and hobi to give to jimin. he also wrote one of his own of just little things thats been going on in his training. how he misses him etc.
