Lately, the romantic movies that I have been watching in this generation no longer has its happy ending. I guess writer realized to write the reality in relationships. The reality of the world, that not everyone gets to have their happy ending with the people they thought they’d spend their happy ending with. It doesn’t mean that the person or the character wouldn’t actually find his or her happy ending, it just means that the other person or the other character is not the one who will complete his or her happy ending. Sad right? But that’s how it is. It’s the sad reality that most lovers experience.

Last night, I watched the interesting story of the characters of Lio and Shana ( Played by JM De Guzman and Rhian Ramos). The title of their movie is Kung Paano Siya Nawala which was originally released in 2018 but was shown on Netflix just on August 13, 2020. A story of love ( deep love for each other) that did not end finding their happy ending. Is their lovestory complicated?

The character of Lio ( portrayed by JM De Guzman) suffers from an illness called , Face Blindness. It is a brain disorder characterized by the inability to recognize faces. It is the result it abnormalities, damage or impairment in the right fusiform gyrus, a fold in the brain that appears to coordinate the neural systems that control facial perception and memory (www.medicinenet.com;April 25,2019) Lio have gotten that damage from a car accident when he was running after his Father who left his mom (their family) for another woman. And from then he already suffered from Face Blindness. He had no friends. Most people would think he’s weird. Until he met Shana (the character of Rhian Ramos), who’s past was also complicated. Shana was a former addict and was aloof from her family. An opposite of Lio for she has so many friends. And if for Lio, family is everything, for Shana, friends were the ones who have been there for her through thick and thin.

Lio and Shana were so in love. Until they realized the complications in each other’s character. That they both have started judging each other’s past and present condition. Until both hearts grew tired. And they gave up on each other even when they both knew they still love each other. For others, it is better to move forward. But for others it is hard to move forward, after you have invested your time, self, heart, and even your soul.

To me as a viewer, in reality, judgments are normal for humans. It happens not just in romantic relationships, but also inside your families, friendships, colleagues, and even to strangers. But we should not dwell on judgments alone. It will result nothing but hatred. It will cover and overwhelms love. So when this happens to you, always remember ——1 Chorinthians 13:4-8 “ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor other, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protect, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”

So if someday, you’d find yourselves being like Lio and Shana, who doubted one another; who forgot how they started, who were bothered by the past record of wrongs, who started dishonoring one another; just take a moment to always feel and remember love. How you love that person. Why you love that person and why you should stay in love with that person. For Love never fails. ♥️

Above all, if you can’t find joy or love in this world. If you can’t find your Lio or your Shana. If you can’t love yourself, always remember, God is Love. And the Greatest Love is from God. ♥️ He never fails and he will never fail you. 💕☝🏻

Woaaah hold your horses guys. Keep your excitement under control. I am not here to be a “kill joy” but none of them have confirmed that they are both in a relationship with each other yet. I know that them going out in public will probably be the day all juanbie fans have all been praying for, including me. But let us not get too excited labeling them as bf gfs yet. Imagine if after the show ended and they reveal that one of them is dating someone else who is not barbie/jm ? Katakot takot na bash, mura at insulto na naman ang aabutin nila. Kung sila, sila talaga kung hindi rin ok lang importante napapasaya kayo nila. Im no hater but something inside me is reluctant to believe that jm is in to her. And when you feel like something seems off most likely something is off. I just hope that none of these are just promo lang 😢 just a piece of advice dont easily buy the things you see on the internet unless we get a confirmation straight from jm and barbie to avoid disappointment in the future.
