so my new roommate was complaining about boys. 

and i do the usual eye roll, damn that sucks with the internal “well just date girls” 

and she was like it doesn’t help if you date girls either cause i’ve done that shit and it’s just ‘im fine’ back and forth

and then we actually talk a bit

and she’s like “y’know just be asexual or aromantic or something that’s the only way to get out of this

and I know this sentiment has its own problems, but the fact that she casually included aro on a list of Sexual Orientations that Exist, well I was screaming inside.

May I request a blog rate and a fan cast? I don't think I have any selfies up though. I recommend the movie Big Hero 6. It's so amazing and heartbreaking and beautifully animated and deals with issues like mental illness that other Disney movies don't and it doesn't have a romance and has decent diversity and I just uhg go watch it it's incredible

What's your favorite kind of music?

Movie music/scores/soundtracks probably! Then indie and pop-rock. I’m pretty open with music tho, I can enjoy anything as long as I find the melody catchy haha

I do not remember if that specific sonnet is one of them but my lit prof told us that Shakespeare wrote a lot (I forget the exact #) of sonnets about a young blond boy/man.

Yeah it's one of 126, apparently. It’s just odd to me because my high school English teacher taught us about the theories about Mercutio being gay/bi and having feelings for Romeo, but forgot to mention this.
