❝ What time did I sleep, eh? ❞ He repeats her question in a rather incoherent manner, tiredness written all over his features as his brows furrow in an attempt to recall his previous night’s bedtime. ❝ Well we were at the agency practicing well over midnight and it took about an hour to get everything wrapped up and get back to the dorm... So probably at about two or was it three? Let’s not discount the fact that my roommates are particularly loud snorers after a long day. ❞ A light groan escapes his lips as he flops backwards, head hitting the couch as he throws his arms by his side in a resigned manner. ❝ I’m just glad our promotions are done with so I get a little more time to embrace my sloth side. But did I look too dead up on the stage today?  That’s definitely not a good thing. Hoshi just might give me a earful for not doing my best, if so.. ❞

A complete disaster. Those three words would be the caption for the portrait of how their little art time looked like. She never would have thought something as simple as attaching glittery buttons on their flannels would be so frustrating. “How do you sew it again? Right over left? i thought that said left over right, though?” thousands of questions was inquired by the confused Dahyun, to Eunwoo, who was working perfectly fine.She was almost done, even.Then there was Dahyun-- pricking her thumb every now and then with the needle. “I’m giving up on this.” she announces. Finally. “I’ll just buy a glittery flannel-- or ask someone else to do it. I’m not going to make myself SUFFER more.”

she stares at her fellow nineteen year old friend, Eunwoo, and shook her head once she heard the joke that was just mouthed by the other. “Seriously, Eunwoo?” she shot her a look of disapproval, then immediately thought of a different joke. Of course, she wouldn’t try to lose to a pun challenge, right? It was one of her forte, anyways. “Did you hear about the guy who got hit in the head with a soda bottle?” she says abruptly, her expression shocked, as if it was a real news. “he was lucky it was a soft drink.” she says for a while and keeps quiet before bursting out into laughter. of course she would laugh at her own joke.

There is the barest of questioning present across his sharp features, skepticism evident in the narrow gaze he’s directing at the girl, before his features soften into something distinctly more sensible. straightening up, he regards her with a more thoughtful expression, probably one a bit too introspective for the situation at hand, but, honestly, social cues are human constructs that occasionally need to be ignored. “that was - oddly inspirational,” he quips, stroking at his chin sagely. “now i can proudly say i’ve always felt a connection with oscar the grouch.” the english cadence spills out a bit disjointedly, but the sentiment remains the same.

With her lower lip trembling in fear, the young one continued to wave her hands in front of her. “ I swear, i didn’t take any more of the chicken!! ” A lie. She mentally thanked her agency for giving them acting lessons during their trainee days– they could get real handy when it comes to certain situations; like this one. But maybe her acting was too obvious, as she saw the older crossing her arms and giving her this stern look, completely unfooled by her amateur acting. “ Ah, come on! Unnie… you know how much I love chicken… Do you really think i wouldn’t steal a piece? ” she rolled her eyes playfully as she stated something so obvious for her. Ah, of course she would do that. “ I don’t think a punishment is needed and necessary for this– i’m only a kid! ” she exclaimed, now crossing her arms against her chest in protest. Boy, was she stubborn. “ I’ll just buy you another box next time i’m free, okay?? is that a good deal??? ”

Kei tried her best to keep her face serious but the younger girl’s distraught expression made Kei cover her mouth as she started to laugh. “Oh I’m an amateur at this like you. But that makes it all the more fun, right?” She gave the younger girl a sly smile and quickly grabbed onto her hand. “Now let us go! Our adventure is awaiting us. You don’t want to keep it waiting, right?”

“Okay, okay,” she responded with a nod after the male’s first few words. Her eyes wandered off to the side in preparation of the image that the other would try to paint in her mind. Though with how brief the description she’d gotten was before he moved on, she glanced over to him, unable to help the fact that she was making a face already. “Oh– is that it? I mean… oppa… it’s not like bad things don’t happen on sunny days,” she laughed quietly, “Continue though!”

( ☆ ) — He looks off, his mind getting caught up with the story as he forgets to actually say it out loud. Mind replaying the days events as he inwardly cringes at himself before he blinks wildly. Eyes wide as he brings himself back out of his daydreaming when he hears the girls voice, head turning to look back at her with a smile. ❝No no, sorry I got distracted for a second— Yeah but the day seemed so nice and sunny, bad things SHOULDN’T happen on days like that!❞ He exclaims, voice slightly louder as he scrunches his nose up. ❝So cause it was so sunny and nice I went out on my skate board... and I swear this is one of the most embarrassing times of my life, ever!❞
