Could we really be hearing more wedding bells? It seems as though something may be in the air for the Serpentine crew. First Cordelia Meyers locks down mr. tall dark and mysterious himself, Bae Saracen and now it looks like Maryam Khara might be rocking some new bling on her wedding finger as well. Are we looking at a #MaryJo engagement? A double wedding perchance?

Khara, who has been dating Bishop for a whopping five minutes was spotted out and about today rocking what could possibly pass for an engagement ring if you squint and believe hard enough. While both have been oddly quiet on social media about the matter, our sources indicate the couple got engaged while on vacation in Tennessee and don’t want to bring any attention to it yet because of the Valerie of it all.

Bishop whom you might remember from his most memorable relationship before Khara having been with his band mate, Valerie Saracen. The pair had a turbulent relationship before seemingly parting ways several years ago. However, recent news tells us there is way more to the story than that.

What’s really intriguing is the clear tension between Saracen and Khara. The two had some amount of word over twitter during early #MaryJo and haven’t really seen associating with each other much since and yet Khara spoke out in support of her former friend after the most recent scandal. Our reports say Saracen was on the same vacation as #MaryJo during the whole engagement so maybe the two buried the hatchet? Either way that must have been an interesting vacation between the cheating scandals and engagement. Who knows, maybe Khara is also pregnant? Wouldn’t surprise me.

How's this for a book promotion?

Neil Parker, author of the new erotica memoir A Cold Martini in Hell, has been making waves in the Twittersphere today by giving a veiled confirmation that one of his most salacious and graphic short stories--titled "L'affaire de la Misere"--is about Serpentine frontwoman Valerie Saracen.

This morning Parker retweeted a link to a Serpentine fanblog in which a super sleuth fan dug into the short story and the timelines surrounding Serpentine's infamous break-up and the break up between Saracen and Serpentine guitarist/song-writer Jo Bishop.

All signs point toward the cause of the Bishop-Saracen break-up being caused by Saracen having a one-night stand with Parker that seems to have been deliberately set up for Bishop to see. Talk about cold-blooded.

Parker's only comment on the issue was a cheeky, "Well, well, well. Ain't that fun?"

A Cold Martini in Hell has its nationwide release tomorrow, August 14th.
