Got to training late bcuz i had to do some repairs to my toe (lost a chunk of skin due to high velocity set moving backstage last night) and it was raining.

So my sister dropped me off & i got there to see everyone outside practising with the Jo!

hopped out the car, changed& stretched quickly, grabbed a jo out of Sensei's car & joined the class.

We were working on the 31 step Jo Kata

we went up to step 21 i think? but Sensei only had us drill up to step 17 so im making sure to drill it later tonight to make sure its sunk in.

Today was my first time Learning the  Jo katas and techniques, then the black belt i was training with has a bright yellow Jo and i though "hey that looks weird? plastic?" i pickrd it up and instantly got pulled down by it. A Steel Jo. Heavy. That was some some Dragonball Z level training equipment right there…
