Species: “Kitsubus"  Kitsune and Lust Demon Hybrid

Personality: Jo’s an adventurous sort of fox, always going out and pursuing what interests her.  One thing she wants to do more than anything really, is help people.  She has a powerful sense of justice and desire to save people instilled into her from legends and stories of heroes and heroines from the past; and even today she highly admires the heroes of the modern era.  However, she suffers from a problem of being highly timid and afraid of actually going out there to help save people, constantly afraid that she won’t be good enough and that maybe she should just give what she’s made “to the real heroes”.  That said as the masquerade holding magic back begins to fade, Jo leads the charge in fostering co-existence between humans and Yokai

Bio:

Born to Inari No Okami in a yokai incarnation, Inarinoko Mari, and an incubus father, Sylvyn, Jo had a lot of hopes, and a lot of secrets shoved onto their shoulders immediately in life.  Raised to be a sort of spiritual "Prince” for Kitsune culture, while covering up “his” lineage, Jo wasn’t the most fond of the “royal” life, and instead often found himself buried in a multitude of books, taking special interest in blending Magic, and the fascinating technologies of the human world.  Even while he toiled and worked on his passions, he was suffering heading out into the limelight and trying to give such a “princely” demeanor.  It was during a ritual with his Aunt and Cousins celebrating peace between the Oni and Kitsune that Jo RAN.  Far into the woods, tears in his eyes, only to be found by his Mom hours later.

Jo confessed that…he didn’t feel like a boy, and used his shapechanging powers to take on a more female form.

…Mari understood, immediately.   …and knew she couldn’t keep forcing her daughter into that role of Prince.  And so, Mari sent her daughter to live in the human realm with her Father while she finished up her college work.  Now out of college, with three tails under her belt, her Mom’s given her an important mission now that masquerades are falling around the world,  do her best to foster coexistence between humanity, and the supernatural parts of the world.

And while there are many neighsayers and people who outright resort to violence to stop this, Jo has a trump card, a pair of gauntlets she built in college.  

The DaiDrive is a pair of gauntlets that load up cards based on different essences from people, animals, and even objects, to produce a super powered armor for Jo.  She smashes the gauntlets together to form an armor based on both essences!  These combos  are some of the only things that can stand up against truly old magics fighting to keep the human and yokai worlds apart.
