The universe we all know and live in is mostly… undiscovered.
And sometimes, there are just some things that can’t be explained.
What if I told you that we’re creating Universes every day?
TL;DR: A Universe is like a flower with Sub-Universe petals; my S-U is called S-UIN, links to my stories are under the cut.
No, really!
Every story we make up and share has its own dimension of being. One that’s not quite real, yet real to us. In that way, a Universe can be split into Sub-Universes, with the main dimension being the one considered the “real” Universe. Or just the Universe.
You can make it simpler by imaging it as a flower with a constantly ever-growing number of petals.
Now here’s where it gets tricky; a Sub-Universe, which I’ll call an S-U for now, can be divided into Worlds. Each S-U is created by one person. My Sub-Universe called INS-U, short for ImagiNation Sub-Universe. Don’t judge. But just think, if they have a whole ton of different stories in different settings, it gets… chaotic.
But everyone thinks of things differently. Maybe you can have several different stories in the same World. But I’m what I like to call “messily organized”. As in, my things are organized in a chaotic way that mostly only makes sense to me.
So, I have tons of different Worlds.
And don’t get me started on creating them! Like I said, everyone has their way of doing things. You could have a different place you make them, a different timeline, a different way of moving through Worlds, different ways of interacting with them… etcetera.
Worlds have different levels, too. They’re basically stages of development.
Level 1 is just a draft, and is one-dimensional. Literally. You can’t step foot in there, since it’s too low of a plane of existence.
As we move on, each Level gets better developed and Level 5 is the highest, and is like a little Universe on its own.
Now, in S-UIN, there’ something called the League of Five. They’re Heroes who take care of the whole place, with the help of the Sub-Heroes, of course!
