What's this? Progress on Celtic wheel!? Omg! I ran out of dmc 832, so I cannot do the final quarter until I get more 😑 I'm hoping to finally finish this darn thing before this Christmas!

Done 😋 going to it's new house tomorrow!
I have finally begun the back stitching leg of this project. I am crying from relief! Work has me working from 1pm till 11pm (with a break from 5-6pm, so I'm ok, sort of) but because of my working so many hours, and by the time I get home at night, I'm too tired to work on this for very long. So I've decided to bring it in to work on during my break. This coming Saturday, I'm not leaving my house so I will be working primarily on Celtic wheel. As much fun as it's been stitching this, I'll be glad when it's finally done.
Holy shitballs!!! I am nearing the finish line! The gold is completely finished, I have a few small areas to complete and then it's on to the back stitching! Then it'll get a nice gentle wash and press before I frame it- minus the glass... This bad boy will be done in time for this Christmas! YAY!
My progress of the last two months- the Celtic wheel cushion by Joan Elliott! I made the floral mini cushion, if y'all will remember, for my friend Joanne for Xmas ‘16.. I am hoping to have this baby done for Xmas '17. But if not her birthday is the following month, so it’ll work out. The other day I noticed that lovely pinkish smudge mark on the right hand side….😑🔫 I’m thinking it was from the hoop I’d been using prior to the qsnap frame… It doesn’t matter- I will be able to either cover it or wash it out when I complete this wip…. More pics as I go along!
