It is finished! 🌺
The pattern is now available on Ko-fi and Etsy 🌺
This was stitched on Aida 14.
Although it is usually recommended to use two threads for Aida 14, I tried using three threads and the close-ups look better.
I think I'll stick to using two threads when embroidering for personal use, and three threads when macro photography is going to be involved.

Takoyaki Stall in Spring digital cross-stitch pattern 🌸
I designed this pattern because I found several red, blue and pink skeins from the 90s that used to belong to my mother and I wanted to check if they were still usable. The design is mostly red and blue color blocks exactly for that reason.
Surprisingly, despite being 31 years old, the threads held with minimum fraying.
I used Anchor floss. Some skeins were manufactured in Brazil and some in Peru, under the "Ancla" licensed brand (ancla = anchor in Spanish ⚓).
It did feel extremely thin, though, so I used three strands on 14-count aida.

Working on my next pattern. I wanted to try a more vibrant palette this time 🌺🌷
I had to undo it once and rethink the palette because the colors weren't working. But I'm happy with the result!

Can't stop using straight lines for designs. Listening to audiobooks while stitching lines is addictive and relaxing.

Finished warm-up patterns 🌸😺
The Aida I used was stiff and it became a little warped. Hopefully it will look better after washing.

Sapphire Eyes & Silky Tones: New Blue Point Siamese Cross Stitch Pattern! 🐈⬛💎
alling all fans of elegance and those striking "blue" hues! Get ready to capture the sophisticated beauty of one of the world's most vocal and loyal breeds with my brand-new Blue Point Siamese cross stitch pattern!
While everyone knows the classic chocolate point, there is something so ethereal and modern about the Blue Point. I had a wonderful time working with a palette of cool, silvery-grey tones for the "points" and a crisp, glacial white for the body. The real star of this design, of course, is those piercing sapphire-blue eyes. I spent a lot of time getting the shading just right to capture that intelligent, soulful expression that Siamese lovers know and adore.
This pattern is a perfect choice for Siamese parents, fans of sleek Oriental breeds, or anyone who wants a project that is high-contrast and effortlessly chic. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate your favorite "talkative" companion and create a piece of handmade art that feels both timeless and fresh. Every stitch is a tribute to the grace and personality of the stunning Siamese!
