Sick of seeing endless job ads asking-no-DEMANDING you be an expert in ‘Adobe Creative Suite’ as if now that is suddenly ONE thing?! Seriously, after years learning Photoshop / Illustrator, some InDesign and now some XD, I really get annoyed when major apps like AfterFX or Premier are tagged on, as if motion/video is just another ‘simple thing’ and not really a massive in-depth powerful video/editing load of software. What happened to specialists? I know it’s great to have multi-skills (hence XD) but asking for ALL the apps is depressing! Seeing Powerpoint clagged on at the end is a f*****g insult too. And don’t get me started on my ‘I have a PC how do you think I can currently do Sketch?’ rant. I think designershumor summed it up the best the other day, and sure made ME feel a bit less shit?!
