Honestly you are doing such a fab job(although sadly am not watching any show) but my question for you is gurl have you ever thought of taking up writing seriously ? Like really giving it a shot professionally like screenplay writing, story writing or something along the lines. You should really! I I just love your writing style like so many others.

Gosh, you’re too nice! Tbh, I *have* thought of taking it up (many a time), but ultimately I know that if I try to monetize this in a “job” kinda way, it’s going to take all the fun outta it for me. That whole “do what you love, and get paid for it” thing doesn’t apply to me at all; coz once deadlines and money and others’ expectations come in the way, I’ll lose my agency and it’ll start going downhill for me. So, for now I’m just going to keep this as a cathartic thing I do for fun, to keep exercising my writing/analysis skills, and to keep to a good routine where I’m at least being somewhat productive on a regular basis. But who knows what the future holds!

Hi frens! Real life has been keeping me quite busy (with graduation and moving house and all), which is why I’ve been pretty much dead on here in the last couple of weeks. Things have settled down a little, though, so I’m hoping I’ll be back to spamming you guys with unpopular opinions and shitty gif sets soon.  😂 The lovely @ilovefusion has tagged me to post a few things about myself, so why not start off with that.  Name: Kerstin. Nickname: My parents made it a point to pick names that didn’t have any go-to nicknames, so I had a few that came and went but nothing that really stuck. Kat’s what I stick to online because I was called Kate for a while and it’s the easiest and most universal.  Gender: Female Height: 5′9″ Star Sign: Pisces Sexuality: Straight Hogwarts House: I’ve neither read the books, nor watched a single HP movie from start to finish, so no idea? Amazed at how NM has developed his SM image as this woke, progressive, feminist (?) inspirational influencer(ok will stop,limited by word limit at ask)over last 1-2 yrs. My question is what exactly he is aiming for? Can’t be just Tedx talk or KWK invite ! Can’t be 2019 election! Bollywood, director, author? Maybe speech at Oscar with ‘oscarworthy’ acts like Majnu?What am I missing here ?Has he really matured? Is it just me who finds these tweets very cleverly put to project certain image?

Sab bas apne mann ko behlaane ki baatein hai. Just to project image ke oh ho dekho main kitnaaaaaaaaa progressive hoon. Like I said before, I just don’t, particularly in this climate, trust men who do such intense virtue signaling. Either they’re trying to hide their own skeletons, or just hitching their wagon to a rising star for relevancy. This is a time for men to fucking shut up and listen and let women lead the conversation. If you care sooooooooooooo much about this issue, then do something concrete about it, without making such a big show; set up committees in your industry to battle it, create a environment of change, at least on your own show, where you do seem to have some power. Yeh nahi ki pot pe baithe hue twitter pe ainvayi retweet maarke hero ban rahe ho. And that too, just look at the replies to his ‘woke’ tweets; majority of it is shitty stans with zero critical thinking skillz spamming with gifs/lameass replies like “omg lovvvvv u nox”. Who is this crap even influencing to be better? Bas ghazab ki bakchodi hai sab. Unfollowing him on twitter was the best decision of my life.

Why shouldn’t IB be called a shaadiwala show? I mean there’s always some shaadi function going on. Like why is this haldi being held when there’s no shaadi anymore?Is it just me who’s so bored of shaadi functions(I might refrain from attending one IRL for some time) or viewers love to watch only this stuff on repeat ? Is HS capable of writing anything else than ‘101 ways of kismat inspired shaadi functions’?

Tellywood audiences just really really love shaadi episodes. Even if it isn’t an actual, real, full-fledged traditional wedding, they’re a sucker for these reeti-rivaaz-rasmein and the symbolism of it all wrt to the protagonists’ relationship. The TRPs are proof. And whatever gets them the numbers, they’ll keep writing, whether it makes sense in the plot or not.

I don’t have any real opinion on it; I liked the kinda short, kinda long, in-between-y hair Kunal had when he was growing it out. As long as he doesn’t touch the beard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’d be a huuuuuuuuuge change for the character of Omkara though! The shock might kill Dadi dead! Also, not sure how the wife would like it. She seems fond of his long hair methinks.

Hi TT, how's it going?was reading your comment about Nakuul and best way to separate character from actors. While we are on this, I hv often wondered why fans send gifts to actors? I mean I wd never waste my money for which I worked my ass off, on actors even if being a diehard fan. I can understand scrapbooks n all but People send cakes, sunglasses, cups, jewelry, cushions(who keeps cushions with their own face on it at home?) and what not. Beats me Or am I being too practical /insensitive?

Duuuuude, I have the exaaaaact same question. Like, I just don’t get it. I don’t understand that LEVEL of fandom, that you actually track down the set’s address, and you send things to them???? Also, how could these fans possibly know about personal taste and diet/health restrictions? What if someone’s diabetic? What if someone’s vegan? What if they plain just don’t like this thing you’re spending money on??? Like… ON WHAT BASIS ARE YOU MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THESE PPL AND SENDING THEM THESE THINGS??? 

Ok but tbh, I’m a veryyyy super-mega-low-key person when it comes to celebs. I have less than zero interest in meeting/interacting with them no matter HOW much I like them. If I saw a famous person, I would actually turn the other direction and walk away. Tooooo much michmichi. So… Maybe I’m not the best person to have a take on this. 

(Fun fact: I totally passed up an opportunity to meet Sobti when he was in town, that too when I was in the throes of my IPK craze. Not upon the pain of death could my best friend convince me to go. Yup, so you get my level of michmichi.) 

But I also don’t get the actors encouraging this. 1. Showing gifts off on your social media is just hella tackyyyyy and 2. I’m sure it’s very flattering and all, but hello, the safety aspect? My paranoid ass would NEVER eat something that came from someone I don’t know, ffs. Who knows what kinda crazies lurk out there???? How are you ppl just willy-nilly consuming alllllll the food that’s sent to you?????????? THERE COULD BE RAZOR BLADES IN THAT CAKE. THAT PIZZA COULD BE POISONED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PPL??? 

The jewelry thing these girls do (and allllll of them do it. Esp Shrenu, Neha and Subha. Kunal and Lee do it occasionally too, with some tech stuff) seems to be some kinda promo thing for these instagram retailers. IDK if they’re getting paid for it, or just getting free stuff outta it, but overall, it’s really weird and annoying. I do heavyyyyy side-eye and swipe away whenever I see those posts.
