Big dish, little dish, cardboard box.

The last time we visited Jodrell Bank was when our daughter was little. The old visiting centre was still running and with its “hands on” science, and main control centre open to the public, it made for a good day out. It even had a picnic area with a burgeoning Arboretum.

I visited many times before that though with my old Praktica-Super TL SLR then with my Canon AV-1 then the FT-QL the T90 and finally my old EOS-5 SLR, it seemed as though each time I bought another (second hand mostly) camera I’d visit Jodrell Bank. I must try and find some of those old photos one day. Anyway congratulations to the mark II scope on getting a grade I listing. I see a future visit with our step grandson may be.

A shot of #jodrellbank from a walk up #macclesfieldgolfclub yesterday. I thought I'd throw up a couple of different edits along with the original RAW file for reference. Which do you prefer. Is my edit to harsh or do you like the color grading? I do think that usually the best photos tend to not need much work, however trying to get the best out of a mediocre shot can be equally rewarding in my opinion.
