JODY JACKSON & TYLER LEWIS
THE DUMPING GROUND (2013- ) ↳ series one (2013) - series nine (2022)

tyler: ok, so maybe playing ‘who’s family was most dysfunctional’ wasn’t the best idea…
tyler: …jody’s been crying in the bathroom for an hour and we can’t get her out
Hey, quick question, what happened to Jody's character in season 2?
First she threatens and yells at Floss, then she grabs Tyler by the shirt and tries to intimidate him. Like, tf? Does this really seem like something someone who has spent a large portion of her life in the recieving end of that type of behaviour would do?
And what happened to her and Carmen? They were really close in the first season and now they're just... not? They went from Carmen sharing a room with and rescuing Jody without hesitation, even if it put her in danger, to not being able to be in the same room most of the time. It makes literally no sense to me.
I recently picked up some more animation on The Dumping Ground. The 4-season Recap just went up, so here’s some gifs from some shots I worked on.
Kids come and go, but... the DG's always there. Even if you don't appreciate it at first. Even if you spend ages trying to leave. You've got family right here. The only real family I ever had. [...] The best home you could dream of. And it'll become a part of you, like it's a part of me. And it's given me everything. The confidence to be who I really am. To believe that I can do anything. [...] Trust me, if you have even half the adventures I did, you're in for an epic ride.
GOODBYE, JODY JACKSON ↳ Tracy Beaker Returns / The Dumping Ground (2012 - 2022)
Thank you. For this, and for coming all this way. I couldn't have done it without you.
