One of my favorite non fiction books is "We Interrupt This Broadcast", which goes into some of the most important news pieces since the history of broadcasting. (and comes with CDs of said broadcasts!) I freaking love historical news, especially as-it-happened broadcasts, and would love it if someone knows a documentary like that, either for news in general or for one specific event. I've seen a doc of WWII newsreels, as-it-happened JFK coverage, two 9/11 documentaries like that (which are less enjoyable because I lived during and watched the coverage of that as it happened and exist in aftermath that continues), and a news coverage of the Vietnam war, especially coverage of its finale. Anyone got any recommendations for others?
