Yeah :( Joe’ll accidentally use someone’s fear against them because he wasn’t thinking when he did it, and then apologise for weeks after.

Welp now I can imagine Joe trying to stop Bdubs and Doc's argument so joe just summons a cat to stop the argument.

Lolol I feel like it’d be an absolute last resort though; using people’s actual fears/weaknesses against them makes Joe kinda uncomfortable :(

In a stroke of genius I came up with this headcanon, I just wanna pass it by you first since idk how magic works. So basically I has the idea that zed made the trio friendship bracelets, and him and tango went to Joe and had him enchant the bracelets so that when they wore them they weren’t affected by the wither effect when touching Impulse (I was thinking specifically Impulse’s because he’s partial mob so maybe it could be repelled?). Just wondering if magic could do that.

He could probably do it either way, although I think a spell to resist Wither effect would be easier to write. Enchanting something like a bracelet would probably require re-enchantment later on in order for it not to wear off.

What kind of spells has joe learned through wordsmith?

There’s probably Wordsmith spells for most things, and he’s been learning since he could talk, so;;; like a bunch of them.

Wordsmith spells are essentially poems in Galactic, except it’s a bit more complicated because one couldn’t just make up a poem on the fly and have it do something. Joe’s one of the Wordsmiths who understands very well how and why spells work or don’t work, and therefore is capable of creating his own.

Since the ref says Joe's spells are in Galactic, does that mean the end-based Hermits can understand them? If one of them says one of Joe's spells (but they don't have magic), what happens?

> Joe’s currently the only person on the server who can perform Wordsmith spells. Witches are the only ones who can perform magic, and as I explained in the post about witch types a while back, they need either the specific type of latent magic or a lot of practice to use even basic spells in any given field (in this case Wordsmithery). TLDR, nothing would happen, because they aren’t Wordsmiths.
