i'm so pissed thinking about joebill

joe gets up at random times during the night and goes into the kitchen to drink even though he's not thirsty or have a smoke even though he's supposed to go outside. bill almost always wakes up soon after and goes up behind him to kiss his shoulder and ask why the fuck he's up

they always stand close to each other and at random times one will just reach out and touch the hand or back or arm of the other without thinking. maybe they'll be having a conversation with someone and bill will just brush his fingers over joe's thumb mid sentence like it's the most natural thing in the world

one of them can sit comfortably and smoke in the doorway of their apartment but if one gets up to go and do it the other follows within five minutes. since it's a squeeze and neither wants to sit on the ground bill tends to spill over into joe's lap and joe just runs his fingers through bill's hair and scratches gently at the sides of his head

joe has cold hands. bill likes to push him away before they go to sleep because he hates the feeling of joe's dead man's hands all on him. even though joe gets pissed and sleeps facing away from bill most mornings he'll wake up with bill's head on his chest and his arms around his waist and that makes it worth it enough to repeat the cycle

bill loves pda mostly because it makes everyone around uncomfortable. his thought process for the most part aside from aiming to displease is "well he is mine. better stake my claim for the thousandth time." since joe's a couple inches taller and hates pda he can push bill's face away when he leans up to kiss him and he often does
