Life Before the War and After the War
My family of ten once lived a modest but peaceful life in our small home. We had stability, safety, and the warmth of being together under one roof.
But in a single moment, the war tore everything away from us. Our home was reduced to rubble by the bombing, leaving behind only dust and broken memories. Today, we are displaced in a fragile tent in Deir al-Balah, exposed to the cold and struggling to survive without food, clean water, or safety. What was once a life of dignity has become a daily fight against despair.
The Struggles We Face
Among our greatest fears is my father’s health. He suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, yet the war has stripped him of access to the essential medicine and care he desperately needs. Every day we watch his condition worsen, powerless to ease his suffering. The pain of seeing a loved one fade away without help is unbearable.
