Robert F. Kennedy, campaigning for President in 1968. Look at the expressions of joy on the people’s faces! Oh how we loved him! He was going to end the Vietnam War! I saw Bobby just like this and that close too, in Los Angeles —a couple of days before he was killed. His death shattered my heart, I still cry when I remember (like now). He would have won the Presidency too—he would have beat Nixon. There would have been no Watergate. He would have changed the world, for the better. Because he believed in kindness, compassion, equality and love. He was a brilliant man in the prime of his life. He was taken from us and everything changed and hope was lost by many (me included). Joe Kennedy III is the grandson of Bobby Kennedy. He is a fine young Congressman with a beautiful family. Sometimes I want him to run in 2020, but other times, I don’t.
