nyello swans my pal can u please tell your People (incl Me) about a time/s where tua and nick had some fun/fluffy/laugher times... tua seems to me like a very serious lady but even the most serious ppl still laugh til they cry sometimes!!!

tua is very stoic and part of it is her purposefully distancing herself?? combined w her mental state at the time ofc; ie early months in the commonwealth she rarely spoke unless necessary bc she was dissociating so intensely + dealing w anger/grief w no outlet. for the longest time it was just nick making quips and talking if she wasnt and he didnt mind bc he Knew what was going on.

that in mind there comes a point where nick will make some aside or deadpan joke w no real intention and like. tua fucnkg chuckles. and it throws nick bc hes never heard her laugh. or seen her smile!! and he ends up watching her for a second too long bc hes so endeared by her reaction

off the top of my head i know the murder in vault 118 matter actually got a giggle out of tua AND nick bc it was just so ridiculous??? theyd been hired by pearl for this case, right, and the other robots had insisted on the pair of them getting gussied up for the sake of the case (its a real classic mystery type ordeal w pearls and suits and fancy dresses, what have you) so like. theyre both cleaner than theyve been in fuckn weeks (let alone the fact theyve spent the last few days trudging around far harbor in the wind and cold and rain). its so over the top and performative and goofy. at one point theyre both crammed in a closet hiding from ezra. so after having solved the case - which involved tua driving a shovel through ezras brain dome so hard it launched the brain across the room and into the wall, splattering both nick and tua [and their formal wear] in fucnkg blood - theyre on the elevator ride back up AND THE,, GODDAMN MUZZAK IS PLAYIGN, THEYRE BACK  IN THEIR NASTYASS TRAVEL CLOTHES, AND TUA JUST STARTS LAUGHING, WHICH MAKES NICK LAUGH,

it isnt rly fluffy but. god

anyway nick likes to make tua laugh bc hes Like that, meanwhile tua can make him start laughing by just looking at him sideways or making an Expression. nicks none too subtle abt it either, hes one of those ppl who barks laughter, just an outburst yknow
