JOEL TURNER Joel Turner is an Australian music artist who shot to fame in 2004 with his hit single These Kids. Turner has just released an updated version of the single to reflect issues impacting today’s society including homelessness and poverty. Turner auditioned for Australian Idol in 2003, the same season Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll featured. As most of you know, Guy Sebastian won. When Turner was at the height of his fame, he became a victim of a violent attack. A man unknown to him hit him in the face with a fence paling. The attack damaged his jaw which put his music career at a halt and the perpetrator ended up in prison. With improvement Turner is making a come back with his music career. He can only go up from here.
