The Yemeni population in Melvindale has boomed with those Families moving from South End Dearborn known has Yemeni Town. Only one Yemeni eating spot, open at the start of the pandamic survives today. A dedicated owner Hass got mad skills in the kitchen from his previous experience at Roman Village. A small dining room holds ten hungry folks, he opens at noon each day working all by himself. Later has a couple helper's as the dinner crowd calling in many orders. His Shawarma Sandwich n Subs are big seller's. We ate lunch inside while there dozens of food orders went out the door. Had a great fresh made Hummus n Salad with Pita bread. He made me a very traditional Yemeni Beef n Potato Dish outstanding bursting with flavor. A special chopped Chicken with many veggies and unique marvelous Flavor OMG fantastic he's gotta give this dish a name. Truly appreciate the Love he puts in his food. He said I make this for those watching the carb intake. Show him some Love he's next door to Sabinas Polish restaurant downtown Melvindale. #joesphsbakery #yemenifood #halalfood #hummus #yemen #melvindale #downriverfriendseat #motorcitymunchers (at Joseph's Bakery & Grill) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcEPMJxL9Zj/?utm_medium=tumblr
