UP 7768 - Melvindale, Michigan by Tyler Pate Via Flickr: Two locomotives are found idling away in the locomotive shops in Norfolk Southern's Oakwood Yard, with one being UP #7768 & CP #8614. About 20 minutes after midnight, me and buddy left a buddies house after running model trains in his basement for a good 3-4 hours, and decided to come check out Oakwood Yard to see if we could find anything heading out before we drove back south for the night. Which we did, we found these two units idling away. The Union Pacific #7768 left trailing on NS 289 on January 19th bound for Shelbyville, Kentucky.

River Rouge Stream Monitoring with Melvindale 6th Graders.

Last week at Arch, we assisted and observed the 6th Grade students of Melvindale's Strong Middle School, along with their teachers, as they engaged in activities related to conducting chemical tests on water samples from the Rouge River. The students also had the opportunity to examine various Protozoa species within the water samples using field microscopes. This hands-on experience with the scientific process of water sampling heightened their awareness of water resources and they appeared to thoroughly enjoy the activities, which promoted responsible behavior and stewardship of the Rouge River.

Yeah they raised the prices just a little unlike many places 80 percent plus increase we just can't support anyone. Owner Chef got mad skills a Melvindale High School graduate and former chef at Roman Village open now. Connected to parking lot of Sabrina's on Oakwood a block off Allen Road. Just a few tables for eating inside we did, mostly takeout. Mega Deal Alert folks 8 Marinaded Grilled Lamb Chops on a bed of Yemeni Rice only 20 bucks a every day special. I had 4 succulent Lamb Chops outstanding Flavorful. Wife had a Double Patty Halal Beef Cheeseburger a full pound of Love Delicious. Got Yemeni Chicken Heenth on a bed of Rice fantastic. I ordered one each Chicken and Beef Shawarma Holy WOW so unique Delightful with melted Cheese a super unique twist. The name comes from his son a proud Dad.
