Verity was staring up at a tree. She was trying to gather some tree bark for an experiment but the local Aptonoth decided to chew up the easy to reach bark. The only untouched bark was way up at the top.

“Should I climb up?” she wondered.

While she was fit enough to climb up, she was worried about falling. About ten years ago she wouldn’t have had a second thought and climb the tree immediately.

The doctor, an legend started to spread across the land, that an doctor was going through villages, curing the ill and killing buglars with his deathly touch, he would only stay no more them one day on Said Village, chanting and using banned spells to protect the people from foul Monsters... now people are witch hunting the doctor for necromancy and evil Magic.

In a small local village, a small bright tent was set up. Its flaps were thrown wide open. Sitting in front of it was a silver Dragonborn Bard, strumming a lute.

“Step right up! Step right up and listen to the greatest tales of Faerun! Hear the tell of the Ward of Gorion! Or perhaps a tale of the mighty Archmage! Come come and listen!” she said happily.

Soon she had a sizable crowd around her. Coming from the tent, a human-like wizard dressed in red robes was dumping out some water.

“Lyra! Hey come join us!” the Dragonborn shouted. 

But the wizard completely ignored her.

The world was a strange one. Much had changed since Pike last wandered the land. She was surprised to learn that many monsters had changed. New monsters had appeared and old monsters had disappeared. 

“Who still walks these lands? I once feared that our numbers would dwindle and yet I see our numbers thriving.” she wondered.

Eventually she found herself near a hunting outpost. The humans, though wary, knew she would not attack unless she was provoked. What caught her curiosity was the scent of an unknown monster. She cautiously approached the Nakarkos’ lair...

A Barbaric shard mind was seen killing and guttering transpassors on the florest, no one seemed to be able to go through the rock brute, some scaped while others died, it was clear only a few people could go against it, so travellers were alerted to stay off the Black Wood Pines until the problem was solved, but the solution didn't seem to get any closer.

It was supposed to be an easy job. Supposed to be. Clear out the disturbance in the Black Wood. 

“This is the last time I take on ‘easy’ jobs.” Morgan yelped as she rolled into a ravine.

She ducked as lightning and another figure rolled in next to her. It was her partner for this mission: Howl.

“Hey there. Hang on a second yeah?” Howl coughed,

She poked her head up and shot another bolt of lightning from her hands towards their foe, the Shardmind.

The Sky was dark as ever, Black and big clouds made an enormous shadow that covered the entire land like Black cloth. But apart from that, There was something else, an Black and extremely flammable goo like substance where starting to appear falling from the sky, covering an major part the region And only an specific Elder could such thing.

Bronte frowned. She could tell that something terrible was going on. Taking a stick, she cautiously poked at some of the goo. The stuff was everywhere, getting stuck on trees and passing by monsters. Luckily she was inside when most of it fell.

“Nasty. What the hell is dropping this stuff?” she muttered.

Maggie stretched and gave a large yawn. She had just woke up from a nice nap. Getting up, she shook a few loose scales and dust off of herself. She walked down to the nearest stream and leaned her head in to drink some water. Just as she did, the water rippled around her...
