Hello friends, it's Joeuphonium here! So if you've been following my channel lately, you may have noticed some inconsistency with the schedule that I've set for myself. While sometimes work can get in the way, the biggest reason for upload delays has been for technology reasons. Basically, rendering videos takes way too long and is way too taxing on my current laptop, leading to crashes getting more and more frequent. I love running this channel and making these videos, but it gets hard to keep up my enthusiasm for doing it when my equipment keeps failing me and forcing me to redo things over and over again. The worst was a 3-day stretch of failed attempts to render a video over and over again. So why am I asking for your help? Well the biggest answer to solving these technology problems is to get a new laptop. Your donations would go towards the defraying the cost of a new laptop for me, enabling me to purchase a more ideal computer more quickly than if I just saved up on my own. Additionally, your donations would also go towards helping me purchase more recording time. I spent almost $300 just to record the few performance videos that I've posted so far, and I can't afford to be spending that much regularly to record the number of pieces that I want to. I will still make new videos as best as I can, but until I can replace my computer, the rate of my output will still be as shaky as it has been. Every little bit helps, and I can't wait to have the equipment that I need to make the most of my Joeuphonium channel and roll out new videos at the rate that I truly desire.
