The Hardcore Championship continued to be decided under 24/7 Rules as Crash Holly was attacked at the airport by the Mean Street Posse and Albert, allowing Pete Gas to win title, only for Holly to attack Gas after and win back the Hardcore Championship. (Raw 3/13/2000)

After losing the title at Wrestlemania, Crash Holly would win back the Hardcore Championship from Hardcore Holly thanks to Crash paying off the APA. After the match, Crash was attacked by the Mean Street Posse, but was able to escape with the title due to infighting between the Posse. (Raw 4/3/2000)

The Hardcore Championship continued to be defended under 24/7 Rules, as Steve Blackman won the title during a match between Al Snow and Crash Holly. After the match, the Mean Street Posse attempted to attack Blackman backstage and win the title but failed. (Smackdown 6/29/2000)
