Sooo a lot happened the last few weeks. Let’s start with my mom’s visit. I went to pick her up at the airport and her flight was delayed, so I waited an hour or so which was quiet annoying. But I was happy to see her again even though it was kinda strange to have her in my “new life”. We had a relaxed day in Birmingham and cooked some dinner. The next day we went to Oxford and I took some new photos because we were in Christ Church. Then I realised ther was no money left on my bank account, so I was basically broke and we planned to go to London the next two days.
The next day we had a three hour long bus journey to London and decided to do some sight-seeing first. We managed to see Big Ben, London Eye, Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus on the first day. We also saw some amazing musicians. When it got late we went out to have dinner and then we decided to go to our hostel. It wasn’t a luxury hotel but it was fine for one night and for the price we paid, we just talked and enjoyed the time we had together.
Day 2 in London was also quite nice. We took the tube to the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge which is like my favorite place ever. I loooove the Tower Bridge. This was the part of London I hadn’t seen yet, so it was very exciting for me too. Unfortunately we forgot to go to the St. Pauls Cathedral, instead we went to Camden Markets to do some shopping and eat some fish and chips. Luckily, my hostmum paid me the day before, so I had some money again.
On the way back to Birmingham we got stuck in traffic because of a accident on the motorway, so we were lucky to be able to catch the last bus home. Even though we wanted to go to Stratford upon Avon, we spent the next day at home , sleeping half of the day and watching movies the rest of it.
On sunday my mom had to fly home, so me and Anna brought her to the airport and went to Genting Arena afterwards because she had tickets for the Little Mix Concert.
I have to say their show was amazing but what really impressed me was the support act Joey Devries. For everyone who doesn’t know him, he was on XFactor but he was in a band called ‘Overload Generation’. My favorite song at the moment is 'Billboard’ which is very nice and motivates me. Anyway, he promised to follow and dm anyone who posts a picture of him on stage with the hashtag JoeyGetWeird. I did that and tried to get his attention until he finally followed me and I sent him a message to which he replied a few days later. Me and Chrissy bought VIP Tickets for his tour and I’m very excited to see him on stage again and backstage.
I’m too lazy to write about the horrible night out with Verena so there will be another post soon. (:
