Got tagged by @rhavewellyarnbag to list four songs I've had on repeat!
Come On Up to the House by Tom Waits. I am not immune to the Knives Out cinematic universe.
Dirty Work by Steely Dan. Lately I've been thinking about spies and messed up relationships for... Reasons.
Do Re Mi by Colter Wall. This song has recently entered my vocal range and I've been delighted.
It Ain't Me Babe by Bob Dylan. Again, I've been thinking about complicated and messed up relationships.
Tagging @grandpianopossessed @caravaggiosbrushes @laissezferre and @shortcrust ... No obligation of course!
The film didn't transport on the first picture so I got this amazing double exposure of my husband gazing at the sea, and the ominous metal orb in the middle of the square!
@5qui99l3 I don't think I can post pics in your replies but these are my first attempts! Shot on my dad's old Nikon F-601 with 20 year expired film that I'm sure he bought at Rossmann back in the day. The camera has an autofocus but as you can see I'm still practicing lol
I've been getting back into zine making (dream project: a mini version of my dissertation) and while I was figuring out the process I thought: Why not do one for Conclave? So I made a zine about a universe that I invented with two friends.
The process was really fun and even though it's still rough—hey, first Conclave zine!

Congratulations on handing in your dissertation!!!
It's not yet Friday!! We say "man soll den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben," or: don't praise the day before it's over! But yes, I will be free of the thing... until the edits come back...
hi! super inspired by your little conclave zine and I want to put together something of my own :-) was wondering how you went about binding your zine? kinda struggling to wrap my head around getting pages printed on the backs and stuff haha
I am so sorry this took me 500 years to answer. I am so glad you were inspired by my little zine!
So I got inspired because in 2022 I bought a zine about how to make a zine at the CCCB bookshop in Barcelona. This included a print layout for a sixteen-page zine. See shitty picture below:
As for the actual binding part, I bought a bigger stapler just so that I could staple the pages into the cover, only to discover (upon unpacking of the stapler) that it was still too small, so I cut out a piece of the cover and stapled the pages in badly.
My plan for the next zines I make is to just take the thing to a copy shop. They must have a big stapler.
