The Sum of Our Choices.
If anything else can be said about Phil Robertson that hasn’t already been said, is that he epitomized the words of living your life and the power of finding yourself when you’ve assumed there is nothing left to find.
We know his story, we know what the good word and a passion about things going quack brought his entire legacy and the world. But there are two quotes that I thought of when I heard the news that summed him up perfectly.

The verse from Amazing Grace that gives hope for all of us when it comes to finding the light when you’re coming out of the darkness.
and second from the Mission Impossible 8 trailer that perfectly captures the essence of a long journey.
“Our lives are the sum of our Choices.”
Phil Robertson was a man of god and with his family brought many values we could definitely use more of. He had his viewpoints that definitely swayed people away from him, but it’s his own conviction to who he was that shone through and impacted me personally.
You’ve done well Phil, now you’ve earned your spot up there.
